  1. I'm probably going to have a chance to spin my black copy tonight. Once I do I'll report back.
  2. Noticed today that Durand Jones is going to be the April LP from Secretly Society on translucent yellow: https://www.secretlystore.com/durand-jones-and-the-indications-durand-jones-and-the-indications Heads up in case anyone is tracking variants on that one.
  3. All 4 of mine arrived today. Haven’t had a chance to listen but from the looks of everything they’re a step above ones I’ve gotten in the past. Haven’t heard anything about shipping refunds though.
  4. My curiosity got the best of me and I picked this up today. Didn’t get to clean it but aside from some surface noise it’s a pretty nice sounding LP so far.
  5. Looked like this one, but I didn't have the chance to open it up and see what color the vinyl was. Same sticker on the front though. https://www.discogs.com/Prince-Black-Album/release/8952773
  6. Picked up DLO3 and 2 of the 7”s today (3rd hadn’t arrived yet). The DLO3 LP sounds amazing, hell of a debut.
  7. The "Sound of Vinyl" gold version is available now if you do their text service thing. Don't think I can pull the trigger at $30 for that one though.
  8. You could go a step further with a homebrew cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth (mix in a paint edger brush for a deeper clean), but I'd be extremely careful with that because I believe all of the labels are printed on an inkjet printer and if those get wet they'll be ruined. I could be wrong but everything I've gotten from ITC appeared to be inkjet, which even if done on professional equipment I'd be very nervous to get around moisture.
  9. I almost picked up a bootleg of Prince's Black Album yesterday from a local store. I just couldn't drop the $30 on it without knowing how it sounds.
  10. I caught it an hour later and they were long gone. I'm kind of glad because I really didn't need to drop $100 on an LP today.
  11. Latest round of Colemine releases are up for order (for email subscribers), including The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio LP.
  12. Got notification of the last two I ordered being done today. So mine should be here this week hopefully.
  13. I've been waiting on some sort of vinyl announcement for this since the EP came out last year on CD from Flake Records in Japan. The CD contained 6 tracks, while the 7" looks to only be 2 tracks (Somebody Else & Dive) according to Amazon. You can see the listing and pre-order at Amazon here. It says it's coming via RFC so I would imagine a pre-order hitting there sometime soon as well.
  14. Sorry the store I stopped by was out. If I’m near another I’ll check it out.
  15. I can probably do this tonight. Should it be on sale in stores as well? What price point are you looking for?
  16. Another good question would be why these weren't started before they even went on sale. Surely he knew the lineup for awhile. But it's whatever, ITC is cool by me.
  17. Good point. I suppose my response was more geared toward the record store part of the equation. Then again all the cities mentioned (including Cincinnati) sound terrible so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  18. I'll throw Cincinnati out there. Lots of record stores and probably a cheaper overall trip. From my house there are at least 5 record stores (Plaid Room Records, Shake It Records, Everybody's Records, Black Plastic, Main St. Vinyl) within 30 minutes, you can easily hit at least 4 of them in a day with a couple of short skips across the highway. I believe there are at least 3 or 4 more right across the river in northern KY too.
  19. I believe their LP will be coming soon. Colemine was teasing it the other day.
  20. I haven't really grilled them on it, maybe I will next time I'm in the store because I'm curious too. But from looking at it from the outside it seems like DJ&tI are making a BIG push this year, maybe there were some things that Dead Oceans provided that allowed for a bit larger shove. But nothing has really said they officially signed anywhere else.
  21. New pressing of the Durand Jones & The Indications LP, this time from Dead Oceans (in conjunction with Colemine) in translucent red. Cheaper to order through Plaid Room HERE, but Dead Oceans has some deluxe options available with a 7" HERE.
  22. If I could justify dropping the cash in one swoop I’d do this. Pretty much everything they released last year was great...and I’ve already got those Elephant Gym lps ordered.
