They took over the Quicksand - Slip reissue that RJ was doing and his shit didn't make it on there. This pricing though, fuck. Even with the discount you're paying more than before.

At least I hope they don't decide go re release it with "fixed" artwork like they did with Slip. So annoying that they decided to make that one of the selling points.

It's dark green/black to match the album artwork. The green Slip is much brighter but it's also a green and yellow swirl. So they don't look alike.

Noticed that too, I think it's because of the artwork the label supplied to them, because that's the track listing/album side listing on the original pressing.

Got mine today. Man, they did a great job with this. The reverse board gatefold looks fucking sexy and the inner layout is awesome.

Can't really justify dropping 40 bucks on this. I find it kinda hypocritical for people to complain about vinyl prices in other threads, yet somehow find a way to defend this because "WELL IT'S BEEN SO LONG" or "ITS GONNA BE A MASTERPIECE."

Agreed. Checked out the Hot Topic in Albany even though they're not on the list, and they don't have it. Not sure when/if they're getting it in either. Bummer.

That's not the point. The initial pressings that SRC released had shoddy artwork. I'm saying that in order to get the correct artwork, one would have to purchase this "anniversary" edition.
