  1. I remember reading that the colors were exclusive but I wouldn't be surprised if they sent them to indie stores as well. The answer was in response to someone who ordered through Amazon and wondered if it would be colored. Someone from TRL said the ones from Amazon and other stores would be black. I'll try to find the quote.
  2. I lowered prices on the ones I've got left by including postage. No math required!
  3. I can ship today if I hear from you in the next couple hours. And they'll be in actual lp mailers, no bubble/cushion mailer junk.
  4. All of those colors sound awesome, I don't even care which one I get
  5. U.S. media mail included. Thanks! $12 Broken Bells - S/T $15 Iron & Wine - Kiss Each Other Clean (I'll throw in an Iron & Wine button) $10 MGMT - Oracular Spectacular (120g original press) $10 Modest Mouse/764 Hero - Whenever You See Fit
  6. Got my order today already. Thanks for the fast shipment. The Pinback 7" is excellent!
  7. I've been watching these as well. Insane! I hope Jade Tree will finally see it's in their best interest to reissue these.
  8. http://www.zambooie.com/toothandnail/Results.tpl?cart=13034323227991284&st_id=109&category=Vinyl&startat=1&directionsort=as&sortfield=title Shipping is a little high, but my local store was charging 24.99 on RSD, so....
  9. Well they did give the bonus 7" with Curse Your Branches, but I agree Dave would have said so if Barsuk had something lined up. Undertow it is.
  10. I wonder if Barsuk will do a special color or package pre-order like they did for RaRa Riot. The instant mp3s are very tempting but I think I'll wait to see if it's released with a special 7"or some other bonus somewhere else. The new songs he played at a recent house show I went to were really, really good and May 24 cannot come soon enough.
  11. Also, getting paid to buy vinyl and make dream releases a reality has got to be one of the coolest jobs in the world.
  12. 1: I thought a European pressing of this had been available for a long time. I know Amoeba has had lots of copies on the shelves for at least the last few months. They were also charging 49.99. Luckily I got one back in 2005. 2: I emailed Barsuk about a Photo Album and Facts repress a couple months ago and this is what they said: "there are so so so many factors in re-issuing those pieces of vinyl, but believe us, we are trying our best!! we can't afford the ebay prices either, and nobody should have to. keep checking in, but believe us when we say that it's on our radar!" I think it's just a matter of time.
  13. Western Tread has Splash Turn Twist and is 180g
  14. I was hoping this would be in my mailbox today, but I can handle a week delay. Has the color information leaked yet? I kind of like the surprise factor but I'm so curious about which three they went with.
  15. Haha, I'm not a completist and Shadow is my favorite Jurado album.
  16. I will buy "And Now That I'm in Your Shadow" or trade Jurado's Waters Ave. S. for it. PM me if you want some cash or Waters. Thanks!
  17. I sent a PM on the day he bumped this and he hasn't even logged on since then. Are you okay 1976?
  18. They didn't remaster it... they just used the remix that Isaac Brock did in 2004. All I had seen was the description that says, "Remastered on 2xLP 180 gram vinyl with original artwork to coincide with the 10 year anniversary of this classic album" but you're right. I guess I (and lots of other people) disagree with Isaac, haha. Before I got the vinyl I had the original cd, so it's probably just because it's the version I'm familiar with.
  19. I'm thinking about buying some new floor speakers or bookshelf speakers with a sub and would like to listen to a bunch of different models. Do you know of any good home audio stores in southern California? I'm not looking for super high end or custom stuff. Also, if you've got some speakers you really like, let me know which model you've got. Thanks!
  20. Yeah, I really do prefer some remastered albums over the original, but I really dislike the remastering they did on Moon and Antarctica. I felt like they really took the life out of it. In fact, everyone I know who has heard both the original vinyl pressing and the anniversary pressing prefers the original. I just think it was completely unnecessary and it would have been equally unnecessary with Good News. All I'm saying is I'm glad they did another pressing without changing it from what we already know and love.
