  1. I have never heard this band before. I just know that I have to own this fucking set.
  2. Hey, did you notice the site is down? I logged into the server company thingie... it's scheduled maintenance... Still a bummer though. Cute. And now, suddenly there are 57 more copies a certain record thought to be fully sold out at this point. Coincidence? Is this another example of "keeping records in print that people want to buy"?
  3. The white one would explain the small trace of white in one of my copies of No Heroes. My shit looks like some skewed design though. http://i926.photobucket.com/albums/ad104/mymymynailspeelback/IMGP2929.jpg?t=1287735652 http://i926.photobucket.com/albums/ad104/mymymynailspeelback/IMGP2931.jpg?t=1287735791 http://i926.photobucket.com/albums/ad104/mymymynailspeelback/IMGP2931.jpg?t=1287735821 Balls! Now I really want a white one...
  4. If they still have any of these, it might be the reason I need to actually care to go see them after that ball-fuck of an album known as Blue Sky Noise.
  5. Other than this are these pretty much the same as the first press? I also noticed that the colors on the sleeve are a bit paler than my first presses. Only noticeable when directly juxtaposed with the originals. Its not like it looks shitty or anything. Nothing else really stands out to me. The sound is good. My copies are bit crackly. My original NH's are much cleaner sounding and they're at least second-hand for me. The You Fail Me insert is 11X11" and is expanded artwork. Not the cover hand graphic. Lyrics are there but in tiny type. Also has download card. My original YFM is a pretty crackly in the quiet areas and makes "In Her Shadow" kind of painful but luckily the music on the rest of the album is louder than the noise. Maybe I need to grab some that D4 cleaning solution that supposedly cleans the shit out of the grooves completely. The stuff I use now is pretty nice but I doubt its as thorough for cleaning as some of the other solutions.
  6. Anyone notice that the spines on the jackets for the new No Heroes are thicker (like Axe To Fall and Jane Doe) than the first press? Also has larger type to fit the thicker spine. I like it. Looks rad. Looks like they put more thought into the details than just running off more of the old stock. Also just noticed that the gatefold only has one record slot with the front being glued shut. My other NH's have both slots open on the gatefold. And there's a download card for No Heroes.
  7. Its all a big show-off, man. Don't get caught being impressed.
  8. I have 4 copies of this on vinyl and I plan on getting this one. I have a Trust No One, two Escape Artist's, and one Level Plane. I accumulated them all in the pursuit of the quintessential package which at this point has been the Level Plane version and because I kept getting different copies until a found the most noiseless playback (the noise I was getting on the first 3 minutes of "Weight" was unbearable). From the few details we have so far, it sounds like the Robotic Empire version could possibly trump the Level Plane in awesomeness. I just love this album so much that I want copies that sound great and will last me the rest of my life and having high-end appointments in the package presentation only helps to venerate this masterpiece for me. I'm a vinyl nerd and an Isis nerd. Put that all together with my favorite Isis album (Oceanic) and this press, so far, sounds like a dream come true. I don't need to have every press of an album, just the best sounding, and best presented versions.
  9. Jesus Glue wipes the floor with Junkies. I actually think Junkies kinda sucks. Not really impressed with that song at all. It might work better in the context of an album like if it were surrounded by Babe's and Stuck Pig's but on its own, its pretty weaksauce.
  10. Fuck yeah! Fancy pants! Anyway, don't apologize for keeping records in print that people want to obtain for less than eBay prices. If someone is so OCD that they "must" own EVERY version of a particular title, that's ALL on them. No one made you collect every variation. If you can't handle it financially, grow up and stop buying things you don't need. Thank you, Robotic Empire. And think about this: I won an auction for a first press of You Fail Me about 6 months ago for around $41 ppd and as much as I didn't want to pay that much for a record, I did it because I had to have that particular album and didn't think I'd get another chance to get it for less than $50. Now, I can get YFM for about $15ppd from Deathwish, Inc. and by God, I'm all about it. I'm glad they repressed it. Its good for people who may not have been around for it the first time around.
  11. Yeah, well they could at least "let a nigga know" if they're going to make these songs available in some sort of compilation in the future and what formats. That way we can judge how important it is to spend how much money we think we can afford for these. They're way too big of a name to be producing these in such obviously small numbers. They have to know that. Why would you knowingly exponentially inflate the price of your product by producing quantities WAY below the demand? "Hey, let's disappear for 8 years only touring sporadically in short bursts to develop a rabid cult following on the internet and then slowly churn out single songs that debuted live between 2 and 6 years ago unannounced on 45's, one per month in the lowest possible quantities we can get away with from the manufacturer when our enormous fan-base is pissing themselves waiting for our new recorded material! Hey, you know who could REALLY benefit from that type of release?....." We all know the answer.
  12. This shit is ridiculous. We shouldn't have to be scrounging like this. I really wonder what Glassjaw's motivation is in all this. They would have to be superbly retarded to not understand that they're making flippers bank on these.
  13. At least he's just looking to trade. Now, if he starts talking about making offers....
  14. I haven't even got a shipment notification. Should I even expect one? I would say that you should count on getting one. I wouldn't freak out just yet. Give it time.
  15. Mine just came today. They look sexy as fuck. Played a bit of A to B and it sounds freakin' amazing.
  16. Gate-fold Stoughton jacket. 180 Gram. Would be cool.
  17. FML. Did this actually happen? Why does this 45 hate me?
