  1. King Giant is a killer southern doom/metal band from Northern VA / DC. They've self released 2 albums over the past 5 years, both of which are killer. You can order them at the link below. http://www.kinggiant.bigcartel.com/ Check out some of their tunes here: http://www.kinggiant.com/media/media.html Hope ya'll enjoy.
  2. These guys are a great DC band. I highly recommend getting this. I try to never miss them when they play around town as their sets are always crushing.
  3. Well put. What's funny is this chap seems to know EVERYTHING there is to know about creating the ULTIMATE SOUND!!!!!, has no issues in telling someone their setup sucks in the most arrongant fashion possible, yet fails to offer any pointers as to how someone might make their setup sound better given the equipment and space limitations they have. That being said, even if you did provide pointers I wouldn't listen at this point. You've been less than charming so don't waste your key strokes and time. I enjoy my set up, I'm not sure where it was construed that I thought it was "shit". I don't think that at all. I think it's fantastic and given the insane space limitations I currently have I'm more than happy with the sound. I conferred with a friend of mine who knows a ton about sound (he records and produces all genres of music) when buying the Klipsch speakers I have and I think they sound great. While they are not elevated to the key specs most preferred by my ear drums they still manage to give me ear orgasms. Maybe my ears are just easy, who knows. However, sometimes when the bass bounces off my couch and hits the wall it doesn't do so in a perfect acoustically sound 45 degree angle and I scold the shit out of it. I'm all like hey bass!, you're fuckin' with the treble and that ain't right!!! It corrects itself and we resume play. For those wondering my collection is packed with a ton of 80's through current metal. There is also a solid mix of 80' through early 2000 rap and hip hop, 60's and 70's classic rock, blues, funk, and a sprinkle of jazz and old school country. I don't collect variants. I used to but I got away from it because I didn't see the point in having 5 of the same record. Warmest Regards Possible, The Smartest Man Alive
  4. I hope you get laid sometime this decade in-between shifts at McDonald's and Magic The Gathering tournaments so you can discontinue being such a little prick. I'm rooting for you little buddy!
  5. Agreed. I think their albums sometimes come across as flat and lack the insane energy you get from this band when seeing them live. Maybe this one will be different. Regardless, that shipping price is bogus.
  6. Yes, I love listening to records as much as I do collecting. On the evenings when I don't go out to a show or some other adventure I typically listen for 2 to 3 hours. I'm that guy that puts the TV on sports, mutes it, and cranks tunes. I don't have speaker stands because I lack space for them. If my speakers were elevated in my small condo it would look retarded and even more full than it already appears. There is no lack of sound coming from the Klipsch speakers on the floor and the Bose speakers to the left and right side of the shelf that has my receiver and turntable add the perfect amount of high end to compliment the Klipsch floor speakers.
  7. Thanks! It's a labor of love that has accumulated over the years. I'm beginning to run out of space but hopefully I'll be buying a new place in the next year or 2 and can spread out some.
  8. Well bro, since I'm just now coming out about that time where I fucked your girlfriend and your mom went down on me I'm still not quite ready to give up my hot spots. Your mom's vagina was a hot spot though.
  9. Ohhhh boy. I can't comment or I'll get a cry baby message.
  10. Anyway, collect what you can afford bro or bro-ette. It's a massive hobby/experience. You'll figure out what suits you best soon enough. Welcome to the hobby and don't let the snobby dick bags scare you off.
  11. I'd love to meet your self absorbed self in person and beat the pants off of you. You're such a little bitch on this board.
  12. He realizes now that it's a coin flip. Lucky me I guess. I thought it was. I wanted to keep this. It looks completely bad ass. I tried to like both albums but I just can't get into them. I think it's the vocals. Even my g/f voted no and she went to Harvard.
  13. Yeah boy! Highly flippable! Flip it real good!
  14. Live LP + bonus track recorded on the 2012 European Tour in Munich, Germany. In die-cut sleeve, red vinyl. I think the red version is limited to 250 copies. I know they did serveral different colors. Their site has black and red. I only posted red. Support! http://www.indiemerch.com/miseryindex/item/18387
  15. DYING FETUS "History repeats" is out now for the very first time on vinyl! Officially licensed by Relapse Records, this album features some of the most known tracks in the Death Metal genre! Covers of CANNIBAL CORPSE ("Born in a casket"), PESTILENCE ("Twisted truth"), NAPALM DEATH ("Unchallenged hate"), BOLT THROWER ("Unleashed upon mankind") etc. plus a special track available only on this album ("Rohypnol") are the winning points of this release! Limited edition 400 LPs on marbled vinyl! And an absolutely stunning backwards playing technique: You must put the needle in the centre to listen the first song and the last song of each side is at the edge of the vinyl! http://www.nuclearblast.de/en/products/tontraeger/vinyl/lp/dying-fetus-history-repeats-marbled-vinyl.html
  16. Pretty sweet deal. Order this sweet ass t-shirt and they throw in the Megalodon EP. I think it cost me a little over $23 including shpping. Don't miss out on a great deal like this kids. Scoop it up! http://www.indiemerch.com/coc/item/18655
  17. Sweet. Got the red and black. Digging the artwork. Been looking forward to this album.
  18. Got my Manic Compression SRC subscription vinyl today. The belly band is really nice and mine is 51/250. Comes with an extra poster as well. Pretty impressive.
  19. Definitely will be grabbing this when I got to their show later in the month.
  20. Typical. Glad you had to put your wang in your mouth and eat it.
  21. Grabbed an orange too. Definitely the best color of all the options. Not shocked it sold out so quickly. Original pressings of this typically fetch a good bit.
