  1. I'm looking for Lungfish vinyl.

A lifetime ago I gifted the couple I owned to a friend. I don't regret it, they were in a bad spot and it made them happy. But now I wish I had a couple of their albums to spin.

I don't have a trade list but can work with anyone if they prefer trades. References available upon request. Help me out.

  2. I signed up for Secretly Society for the first time recently to get the Molina release. Did 3 months. At $20/month inclusive of shipping, along with the right to skip a release if you want, it's a really good deal. I'm not a bright eyes fan but a 2xLP shipped as part of this gives me a reason to give a fresh listen to them.

I guess my point is I'm impressed. Not a fan of subscriptions but this is working. If you want that variant, sign up. Anyone check out that Porridge Radio album? I like the single I heard but have been hesitating to order it.

  3. Curious: I joined Secretly Canadian's - Secretly Society for the first time to get the new Molina album. Do they always have an exclusive Society version? I don't see one on there for Punisher but am wondering if it still might be coming.

Thanks in advance to those that can offer insight.

  4. The Jersey City sorting facility seems to have become a black hole. No reports of it being closed but with Covid hitting the state so badly I can only imagine they are severely short handed. If you want a job in a shipping company's sorting facility in NJ - there are a lot of job openings starting at $17/hour. Tells you what's happening.

A good friend of mine is a Senior Supervisor at a national shipping company's NJ facility. When the outbreak happened they gave no PPE and he was told it was mandatory to come in to work. He got Covid. On his third day in the hospital. 12 hours after coming off the respirator, he was told he had to give up his bed since he was well enough and someone worse off needed it.  They wheeled him into the lobby with no ride home. As he called everyone he knew to get him home, I told him I couldn't do it. Yes, I felt like shit but with a wife, kid, and duty to my community as a volunteer firefighter - I couldn't risk it. I could get his groceries etc but that ride home while still sick was a family matter.  He did alright but it was three hours in the lobby waiting. So, you think those folks making 25% of what does feel good knowing the experience of their supervisor? Probably not. Those jobs aren't filling up on a steady basis too soon. My pal is alright now. Those first few days after the hospital were nasty for him. He's going back to work soon.

Be well. Stay safe. Stay patient. Be understanding. Stuff in that Jersey City location are likely going to be insurance claims according to one big music distribution company I was in touch with. We'll survive not having a particular record but in the end refunds or replacements will be made when it's all said and done.

  5. Anyone get their Drain pre-order from Rev?

Also, there is a Deathwish 10% off code: axetogrind.   A few years ago I went to spin my Better Than A Thousand lps and they were gone. No recollection of who borrowed them at what point in my life but it had to be a long long time before that. I used to loan out all my LPs. There are a few other examples. Anyway, I grabbed the discography collection.

  6. My dude has a Switch - anyone on here remember me and play either Mario Kart or Splatoon 2? I am also the worlds worst Fortnite player but I am learning it so I can play it with my older nephews in squads. Sucking at the game, but still playing, has proven to get me to coolest Uncle status. I'd swap screen names or account info with old-VC friends by message.
