it was weird. but the look on those guys faces when Watson started giving them the business. whew!

they recorded the album for their website, then there was something about evr wanting it rerecorded or remixed or something. there are some distinct differences between the pre-evr release and the official. just a tidbit!

what's even better is that this isn't the first time they've gotten serious media coverage. they've performed televised songs with bowie and springsteen. people is just ign'ant. this is definitely a big step for music, though. i wonder if it will last.

the singer, ben jorgensen, was the drummer in a punk band outta jersey called Random Task before he started Armor For Sleep. they were awesome too. i agree, the first 2 albums should end up on vinyl.

does anyone have any advice on remodeling an dynaco st70 amp? i have a pretty low end set up now - technics sl-bd20d, sony receiver and 2 decent sony speakers. my dad has a ton of hifi equipment (linn sondek table that i'm going to try to buy from him, 2 working dynaco st70s, 1 that needs a complete remodel, and killer dahlquist speakers that we refurbished a few years back), and i'm trying to figure out how to put together a decent unit. i was thinking of putting some tax return money into it, but i'm looking to just get up and running without blowing the whole thing on hifi. any suggestions?
