My ex and I were on and off for about 3 and a half years. When it was finally over and I started dating my current gf, I tried to keep things light with my ex and tried being friendly. The last time I talked to her was when I asked her how she was and how her new job was going and if she was going to get an apartment of her own. She told me that I was a fucking creep and a werido for wanting to know that kind of stuff and it was shitty to do that to my gf. I was like "lol alright" and haven't talked to her since. She drunk texted me one time and I literally didn't know who it was and then it clicked. She sucks as a person

My friend's fiance was an English major and she is a tutor in the Virginia area. There are jobs, you just have to be willing to move to get them. Editor/writer/copyeditor positions do exsist, but you have to have the internship experience to get them. Chiming in with what everybody else has said about school, I feel that if you want to secure a job after college easily you have to look at where the job market is at. Finance, accounting, business, supply chain, logistics, engineering, integrated systems/IT; these are areas that are booming right now. It's going to be 5x harder to find a job with a degree that you love doing. Case in point: GF graduated in anthropology and has a master's in library science with a focus on museums. She wants to be a museum curator. Job market for that is super slim and when somebody quits/retires, they usually liquidate the position due to funding
