  1. I was pleased with the PPV overall. Of course, that Evolution/Shield match was fantastic. The little Johnny segment was creepy. Divas match was actually enjoyable, although I'm not sold on Paige quite yet. Byan/Kane match was entertaining
  2. I know this happened a couple of weeks ago, but did anybody go to that War on Drugs show at the Grog? That was a not-so-good experience
  3. I downloaded Deadlight since it was one of the free games last week and I started playing it. It's not really that good, but I think it will be quick and easy to get through to kill some time
  4. I wish I was on a 4x10 schedule, but I'm on what we call a 9x80. You get every other Friday off, which is nice
  5. I think my personal favorite of Carpenter may be Prince of Darkness or They Live. Rob's version of Maniac is awesome and I will jump on the Goblin train as well
  6. Fingers crossed. Haha. I have to interview for the position, but the hiring manager has contacted me several times telling me that she hopes I apply for it. I interviewed for another position she had open but I didn't get it, so she knows who I am. I'm super excited that it's really close to Austin and that if I want to go to a beach, Houston is only 4 hours away. Hah. Thanks! Hahah. Disney would have been a plus, but the cost of living I don't believe is very doable. I would essentially have to live close to the city. 2 bedroom apartment in Orlando = 1100-1500; 2 bedroom apartment around Fort Worth = 650-900. Not to mention all of the tolls you have to pay, etc. But thank you for your excitement Logan!
  7. My original transfer was to Orlando, but the promotion is in Fort Worth, Texas. Texas is ideal for obvious reasons (music scene, food, better atmosphere, job market), but my gf's mother, step father and sister live in Dumas, which is 6 hours away. Bonus perk
  8. I made a very difficult decision, but I think it's for the best. Long story short, I accepted a transfer position for my job, but received an offer to apply for a promotion within the company and I had to notify my manager of it. I just notified my manager and submitted an application
  9. I know that my father/step-mother said either go to school or pay rent, so I chose the former. I was employed through college though, but they didn't charge me rent, which was nice.
  10. Picked these up last week used: 12": Ty Segall - Melted The Six Parts Seven - Things Shaped in Passing 7": The Hives - Hate to Say I Told You So The HIves - Main Offender Promise Ring and Texas Is The Reason Split Damien Jurado
  11. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jack-White-Lazaretto-Worlds-Fastest-Record-7-Record-Store-Day-2014-TMR-/171305771297?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item27e29ea121#ht_82wt_1362 I know there may have been mention of it in the TMR Thread about price, but this is the most expsenive one so far. Any of the 7"s that currently have bids, none are under $100
  12. Went and saw Raid 2 last night. More storyline than the first one, but just as enjoyable.
  13. Due to great sleuthing on the internet, it looks like Speed 2: Cruise Control
  14. I know what you mean. Streetsboro and Hudson are kind like no-mans land when it comes to record shops. When I was living in Kent, I hated the drive to downtown Akron to go to Square Records. Couldn't imagine the drive from Streetsboro or Hudson, Haha. The Exchanges can be hit or miss. I've found good records in some locations, but they're usually overpriced; however, I have managed to find records that are spot on with their pricing
  15. Hate to disagree, but Spin More in Kent (where the JJ's is now) wasn't a good shop in my opinion. Everything was overpriced and I wasted about $30 on a piece of shit needle the guy sold me that ended up actually breaking within 2 weeks of me buying it. No surprise as to why that place closed
  16. If you're looking for a house to rent, you could always try Zillow. I did a quick search in the Heights area and it looks like everything is right around the 1k-1.5k area, but there are some cheaper ones as well. Howard Hanna is a big realtor company in Ohio and I recommend their website, but again, it might be a little out of your range. If you're looking for apartments, the easiest way to go is just type in Google "apartments in Cleveland Heights Ohio" and go to the Maps seciton of Google and you should get a bunch of hits
  17. I would say if you don't mind driving half an hour, check out the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Lots of great wooded trails to hit up
  18. Probably going to go see the Men tonight. Bar + not having to work tomorrow = drinking Genny Cream Ales alllllll night. Hah
  19. Does anybody drink tea at work? I just got Lipton's green tea superfruit cranberry pomegranate and had my first cup (hot, no sugar). Pretty tastey. I'm going to try and drink more green tea while at work
  20. If anybody missed on that Inside Llewyn Davis or if anybody wanted it, Rich Kelly has some AP editions on his website. $70 tho http://richkelly.bigcartel.com/product/inside-llewyn-davis
