I just can't seem to get into Majoras Mask - I know, that's sacrelige. I'd be willing to trade my Majoras Mask for A Link Between Worlds if anybody's interested.

I'd recommend leaving the LP home. You don't want your entire night to be ruined by the stress of whether or not you'll be able to track down the band. Especially since it's your first show. Just enjoy the experience.

My wife and I mostly enjoy abstract games. Some of our favorites are Quirkle, Blokus and Hive. They're all excellent games and great with two people.

Went to buy tickets the other day not realizing all days are sold out. Last year's shows were great. To anyone who's going, enjoy!

Halo multiplayer is still a crapshoot for me. It takes a long time to connect and after a match practically everyone is kicked out of the party. I'm tempted to trade it in for GTA V.

Had a very good experience with the single player, but I waited a long time to find a match on multiplayer. Hopefully it's resolved soon. Seems kind of ridiculous that so many big launches are plagued with these problems.

I bought it a few days ago and suck, but I'd probably join.

Picked up Pokemon Y and Super Smash for the 3ds (or in my case, 2ds.) I used to love the Pokemon games, but I'm not sure if the interest is still there. I feel like it's just the same game, different location, over and over again. I guess I'm looking to be captured by the game the same way I was when Red/Blue were released - then again, I was only eleven. I guess one of my biggest gripes as the franchise has progressed is that "catching them all" is borderline impossible unless you dedicate your life to the game. Back when it was 150 pokemon, that was reasonable, now there's like 1,000 (I actually have no idea of the number, but I know it's a lot.) I miss that aspect of the game. Now it doesn't even seem worth it to even attempt to "catch them all."

Didn't think I would be as excited for Halo MCC as I am. Can't wait to pick it up on Tuesday. Gamertag - Imagine1980

Picked up a 2DS today from a Walmart sale. I'm having a tough time getting used to the small screen size. Now I know why the XL is so popular. I'm sure with time the small screen won't be as noticeable though.

Thanks for the trade in replies. Best Buy has a sale on their Gamers Club Unlocked next week. Essentially, if you buy a $40+ game, you get GCU for $30. Seems like a pretty good deal since you get 20% off new games and an extra 10% towards trade ins for the next two years. I might ditch selling on Ebay and go the Best Buy route.

That Grouplove print looks awesome - the one that looks like a painting. Where'd you get that from? I'm guessing that's one of Hannah's paintings?

I want to get in the habit of selling my games once I finish them to finance my next game. Is it better to go through Gamestop or Best Buy versus selling them on Ebay? When I did sell my games in the past, I usually just used Ebay.

We need some more people to join the VC crew on Horizon. Anyone else playing?

Man, I'm loving Forza Horizon 2. I definitely expected to enjoy it, but not as much as I am. The game hugs the line between arcade and simulation so well. It doesn't seem like many on the boards are playing Horizon, but if any are, I made a Vinyl Collective car club. I don't really know what the "car clubs" do, but there comes a point in the game when you're prompted to join one. Feel free to search for it and join - it's a public club.

I picked it up today, but haven't played it yet. I had to finish my Madden season before starting Forza lol. I'll probably start playing it tomorrow. My gamertag is Imagine1980.

How so? I was always under the impression that the 360 controller was considered to be superior to the PS3 controller - at the very least, it was a fine controller. If the Xbox One controller is an upgraded version of the beloved 360 controller, what makes it a "shitfest"? Regardless, it's a matter of personal preference. If chriswamsley is already a Halo fan, he probably enjoys the offset analog sticks. For me, the Xbox One controller is comfortable, the haptic feedback in the triggers is a really nice touch (especially in games like Forza) and the gamepad has finally been upgraded over the wonky 360 gamepad.

Played the Forza Horizon 2 demo on Xbox One. It was pretty enjoyable. I might have to pick it up when it comes out.

I'd go with VJax. Ingarm is kind of unpredictable in that three headed backfield, although I do like how he's been running this year. I also came by this stat today from Adam Pfiefer in regards to Jackson's matchup, "Opposing WR1 has either scored or posted 100 yards in 13 of last 17 vs STL." VJax can be scary since he's often times boon or bust, but I think he's still more reliable than Ingram. I'm going with VJax in my DraftKings lineup - he's grossly undervalued.

I think you would be crazy not to. Picking up a guy who can practically single handily win you championships is a guy worth picking up - even if the chances are slim he's reinstated. Once the news broke on Thursday I ran to my waiver wire (figuratively) and snatched him up. I'm getting giddy at the thought of having 2013's top fantasy receiver on my team - from waivers no less!

I'd probably play Cruz over Sanders in a 1 PPR. Mcadoo's system is all about quick passes which should translate into a lot of receptions for Cruz and a good opportunity for him to run after the catch. I'm rolling with Cruz in almost all of my DFS games. Sanders is definitely enticing in Denver's offense, but I think Cruz is the safer play. Sanders is yet to really prove himself in the NFL imo. Although, it wouldn't shock me if Sanders ended up scoring two tds in that game.Not to mention, you'll probably have to move Gio in the Ellington slot. That injury is not sounding good.

Just picked up tickets to see them a few days before the release date. Hopefully they'll sell some copies at the show.
