  1. Spent an hour this morning crafting badges to get to Lvl 8 so I could get more card drops. Well played, Steam... Well played...
  2. Picked up Season 2 of The Walking Dead during yesterday's sale - I've been patiently waiting for a good price on it. Also picked up Euro Truck Simulator 2. I've heard good things and figured it could be a fun game to relax and play. I'm tempted to pick up Skyrim, although I know I would never play it. I don't have the time or attention span to dedicate to a game like that.
  3. Aren't good tickets in the $90 range? Or are the $90 tickets some kind of package deal? I can't imagine this show coming close to selling out so I'm probably going to monitor Stub Hub and hope I find a good deal closer to the date of the show.
  4. Too bad they couldn't play The Stone Pony or Convention Hall or some other standing room only type show. PNC is the worst.
  5. On the bright side, the Ivory Coast is in a pretty weak group...
  6. I've been playing Xcom Enemy Within. Man, I love the Xcom games.
  7. The argument could be made that Pink Floyd, The Beatles, King Crimson, Bob Dylan, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Bowie and MANY others best albums were after their third. So, no way.
  8. Is this limited? I'd prefer to hold out for a cheaper price if possible.
  9. This won't sound like a great option, but may be better than one would think. You could always get a nice loft in Newark for what I'd imagine would be significantly cheaper than Jersey City or Hoboken. I've heard good things about the apartments around Market St. It's walking distance from the Path train and it's a quick ride to Seton Hall - it's a straight shot down South Orange Ave. Also, public transportation from Newark to SHU is easy by bus (if I remember correctly it's the 32 bus.) Of course, Newark isn't the safest area, but there's usually a pretty prevalent police presence around the business district where many of the apartments are. Best of luck. As a SHU alum myself, I hope you're getting a decent scholarship, it's an expensive school, and unfortunately I didn't grasp that concept until I started paying my student loans...
  10. Got my copy of DCFC from Ear Candy today. The corners were pretty dinged up. It's kind of surprising since it seemed to be packaged pretty well. I'm just happy to finally have this record in my hands, and more importantly, on my table.
  11. -$85. I'm starting to learn the power of self restraint. I've been spending less each year.
  12. 27/100. I try not to be critical of the other people's taste.
  13. Nah, it was actually sold out on Zia when I looked again.
  14. Yes! Just got shipping confirmation from Ear Candy for the DCFC release. This years RSD has officially become a success.
  15. Tempted to purchase the DCFC record from Zia to hedge my bets in case my order with Ear Candy doesn't go through.
  16. "Some items no longer available have been removed from your cart." WOMP. WOMP.
  17. Finally reached my cart and the checkout button doesn't work lol.
  18. Supposedly Ear Candy has a copy of the DCFC release http://www.earcandymusic.biz/Death-Cab-For-Cutie-Magik-Magik-Orchestra-Live-p/c0002539.htm I also got 10% off with the coupon "grandopening".
  19. Man, I really hope that site works. Supposedly they have copies of the DCFC release. I'm cautiously optimistic...
