Correct. I emailed them and the photos are mockups and all the records are random. There isn't a "lighter" and "darker" random set. It's all mixed bag. SRCVinyl are repressing Switchfoot’s “The Beautiful Letdown” on a limited smoke colored vinyl. The repress is set to be released on March 10th and can be pre ordered here: Switchfoot – The Beautiful Letdown LP

It's the latest pressing that came out in the Fall of last year. The 3rd pressing I think. 500 pieces I believe. Yeah, I heard through the grape vine Wonderlands is being pressed on vinyl as well. Despite better sound quality on black vinyl, I hope it's pressed on Marbled colors like the Seasons Box Set.

Yes, the colorways are different. In my opinion version #2's colors are better looking and match the album artwork better.

There is a ton of people who missed out on the 3xLP Box Set so I guess apparently the LP's (Triple Crown) are going to be released individually and directly from the Face to Face merch site. Stay tuned for pre-orders dates and times. (information as per the F2F facebook page). See for yourself.

So there was a compilation LP that was pressed back in 2011 or 2012 that was for the intent of artists trying to raise awareness of children in foreign countries (Uganda or Sudan, Congo, etc.) being kidnapped and being turned into child soldiers. I don't remember the record label that released it nor do I remember any of the artists. I have such limited information on this, I know. I do remember the cover artwork depicted a children soldier holding a gun. The artwork almost reminded me of the same style of artwork used in the show "Boondocks". I also remember the record was pressed on various colors. I think each record color represented a different country affected. I also recall that the money that was raised were to help fund a project to build siren towers that would help warn local villagers if militants were coming to abduct the local children. I wish I would have bought them when I had the chance. I checked discogs and typed in all the words I could think of that might lead me to the release but have come up short. Such a great cause though. Any thoughts or ideas?
