I really like the artwork presented so far, especially the photo for Get It Right. I'm glad they went back to photographs.

Screw it. I'll hit those bozos up for a refund later tonight.

This is the first time I've had that issue. I always thought the complaints were from people trying to order additional items.

Just wanted to update those who may be interested. Over half of my vault sets have been sold. 26 just arrived so that'd be ready to go if anyone is interested, but I'm going to remove the corrected 7" and throw that into the appropriate package. Also, would anyone be interested in parting with that photo book in the new vault package? If not, I'm going to order it, and get rid of the other portion of the set, and thus, get at me if you're interested in that.

Anyone here that doesn't care about the photo book in the new vault package? I'd really like to get my hands on that.

Wish I could have justified picking up one of these at the time they went up. These look incredible! I hope someday, I'll be able to look through the book, somehow. I might pick up the blu ray some other time.

Decision made. Just going to purge the whole lot of rare third man related records. I'll stick to the standard black releases. I've thrown my RSD 7"s on my sales thread, and plan to include my Elephant and Get Behind Me Satan LPs in there too. I think the only item I'll keep is the reverse lightning version of Blunderbuss. I have an attachment to that for some reason. Oh well. Oh yeah! I forgot to mention something on my last post. Along with my vaults, I'm getting rid of a few gems I've accumulated that I can part with. That includes the tour press copies of Love Interruption and Sixteen Saltines 7"s, and the Karen Olsen RSD Milk and Honey 7". DM me. I'm slowly building the will to part with a few other things, but I'll let you know how that battle goes haha.

Try Fingerprints in Long Beach. They're a solid store. I prefer it to amoeba most of the time. Gotta say though, Dr. Strange is a seriously cool shop. Definitely worth the trip. Mad Platter is okay. I always check it our after having a meal down in the university village that surrounds it. There's an ice cream sandwich shop that makes it worth the effort to check out.

Vault #8 sold!

I didn't walk into this expecting GA or THC. I guessed it would be different, considering he went solo for this project, but it didn't work me. Still went to the San Diego show, hoping it'd be fun, but it was a bit awkward. It was so fucking loud in the venue! I felt like it was a war between the band and people talking through the whole set. Didn't feel the stage presence from those guys like last time. I should have gone to the show at the troubadour last month. Oh well. This album reminded me of the last GA album. Really easy to digest. Nothing new or exciting, but I'll stick around to see what he comes up with next. I never gave Molly & The Zombies a listen, and I believe the reworked versions of their songs were the decent ones on the album.
