  1. Me? No, im in Spain. But i used to live in Kingston so Banquet Records is my mecca!
  2. For those of you who remember the punk scene in the UK from 2000-05 should remember Lightyear. They signed to Household Name Records toured the UK relentlessly with the the likes of CapDown, Capt. Everything, Howards Alias and The Foamers. Their live shows had to be seen, naked Morris dancing with drum sticks on fire!... they managed to get thrown of the Steve-0/Jackass tour for being too outrageous (??). They were super chaps. Anyway, Banquet Recorords are releasing their 2 records Call of The Weasel Clan and Chris Gentlemans Hairdresser and Railway Bookshop.

  18. from Inimical Records - "The C-Squat meets the warehouses of the East Bay on this massive little platter. 3 Brand new recordings from Star Fucking Hipsters sees the East Coast line up offering one straight forward rager and one stylistic rethinking of Rudimentary Peni's classic Media Person, adding some ska guitar work to that classic's already manic energy. The 3rd song finds Sturgeon recruiting the East Bay lineup of Dave Ed (Neurosis), Mauz (Dystopia), and Scotty Heath (Tankcrimes) heard on the last LP's Rapture Rinse Repeat, they are accompanied by guest vocalist Diana Mayoral of NYC's Skleptarsis. Pure unhinged violence. The flip side finds Dave Ed pulling double duty with the Poison Idea/ Accused influenced Jesus Fucking Christ. 2 songs that structurally are akin to their last LP, Life's Hateful Seed, but with a more raw loose approach. A future classic split." Theres also "...a very limited offer and the only place you can order all 7 colors of vinyl in one place. Clear (presale), red (ebullition exclusive), orange (revolver/midheaven exclusive), yellow (interpunk exclusive), green (band exclusive), blue and purple (mailorder direct). And you will save $3." COMING SOON - http://inimical.bigcartel.com/category/7-s

  21. i think both parties have to agree and have. Just a guess.
  22. Back on the "rhcp one hot minute repress" thread a couple of us were banging on about frusciante and his music... Well its looks like some one was listening. New ep out on Record Collection on july 9th. Whoresome. Lets hope they finally get their asses into gear and do some jf back catalogue repressing that weve been waiting for. News on letur lefr at IM - http://invisible-movement.net/2012/05/john-frusciante-new-ep-letur-lefr?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+invisible-movement+%28John+Frusciante+unofficial+website+-+Invisible+Movement%29
  23. Yeah, seriously. Luckily, there's only one of his LPs that I didn't buy when you could get them for ~$15. I would love to get Inside of Emptiness (the only one I don't have), but as for now, I haven't been willing to pay what they usually go for ($150-200). Someday... i was in a touring band when they were released and i had less than nothing in mt pockets. I missed out on a few purchases in those years. I wouldnt normally pay that much for any record but this was a treat and it was still sealed!
  24. According to Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Frusciante has over 300 songs to choose from for his next solo record and is currently in the studio recording... but yes its very hush hush. And ill say it again (and until the day it happens) but if anyones discography needs a repress its John Frusciantes. I finally bit the bullet and forked out £120 for Shadows Collide... fuckin insane. But itd be nice if Record Collection sorted out represses of the 5/6 records he did with them.
