I was super happy with my tPoW signed Cartographer from Simple Stereo as well, so I'll prolly be ordering this too.

I think it makes some arguments seem funny, if it's the same few people down voting each other you can just look at it and laugh. I cannot tell yet if I like how you can see who voted you up or down. Post wisely!

This, I went the crosley way in, huge mistake. Save for better stuff, if anything go cheap on the speakers and just get a nice pair of phones till you can afford to upgrade them.

After reading quite a bit, I got a used Technics 1200 for about 330 with shipping on ebay and a shure m97xe from amazon. Already have a receiver and speakers, just waiting for the cart to get here and I'll post pics

Not anymore they only have one building, the one on the right. But the guys there are super nice and are up to date on most new music

My best suggestion would be to hit up craigslist, most of the speakers there are bargins. In my area there are quite a few good floor speakers that are vintage and have really good reviews

Lou's records usually has a great selection, off the record as well. I don't really like M-theory personally, but check it out when you're in town. Good luck!

I had a Crosley at first too, I just sold it rather recently. Upgraded to a used Technics Mk2 and just ordered a Shure M97xe cart. I'm excited for both of them to ship.

People have different ways of doing things, and people have preferences. Lets leave it at that guys. This thread has been pretty useful, I'm planning on hitting up some craigslist bulk record sales, and I wanted to make sure to clean them correctly so they wouldn't be damaging my needle. Any better suggestions then craigslisting? Ebay perhaps?

I bought a Kindle Fire, because it's cheap and I've never owned a tablet. I thought something cheap at first would be best, it's kinda good, but I still prefer my PC. An Ipad would be worlds different then a Fire though.
