karma on this site is about as relevant as a bible in an atheist camp. that being said FUCK YOU for smiting me you smug douchebags. sorry i'm not cool enough to know why vinyl is more expensive at shows (my posting that thread was when i got all my smites). as far as the numbering, i agree that out of 300 would be denoted as /300, whereas x/300 denotes a particular specific number out of 300. especially when it is listed as hand numbered.

Did you by chance pay $57 for this on eBay? If you did, then be happy with the purchase man. That's a rare record and it was recently bootlegged on red vinyl. There's no common info yet to tell the differences of the two so you assured yourself an original. There's been other bootlegs of it for years on green, white and black vinyl but the red boot is from the last year or so. I wouldn't trip over the cut corner at all. I have the UK version of this (with the different cover) but I still need to get the US version as I've heard it's a much better pressing from numerous people. yep that's the one. thanks for the reassurance. good to know i have the real deal with that one. ps i love that cover a lot.

ok that's cool, really i was just more concerned with the possibility of it being less valuable than a standard copy, being that i paid more than i really wanted to for this album.

are promo albums typically valued any differently than a standard copy? i bought a record that has the top right corner of the jacket clipped off because it is a promo. just curious how this affects the value of the record. thanks in advance....

15,000. i just earned my first one and have to say that i'm highly disappointed that it expires after only one month. i was hoping to use this when the next deftones repress drops. so much for that plan.

There were limited color represses of Nevermind, Incesticide, In Utero, and Unplugged. I think each color repress is 180 gram limited to 4,000 each but the numbers aren't clear but they are limited. Most online retailers don't have the color versions anymore and they're becoming really hard to find. That and they retailed for at least $30 each before shipping. So $66 for three of them is a pretty good deal. I have Nevermind, In Utero, and Incesticide and they sound awesome. I skipped Unplugged, but might be tempted to find it sooner than later. what he said.
