  1. honestly try a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab...don't let it be dripping wet, but essentially try writing over it in small areas and it might come off. A lot of commercial markers are alcohol based so that may work...though it also may dull the finish of the sleeve....but i woud try that over lighter fluid...but also hairspray could work too...
  2. i got two art of the underground singles series 7"'s in the mail today(Andrew Jackson Jihad and the Potential Johns) also a demo from a band in ohio that sent me no information about them...just a CDr with a printed insert in a case...
  3. I'd like to think somebody that was straight edge, who should have some background in punk rock subculture, would not charge people $70 for a tshirt etc...
  4. More or less this is what I was going to send you anyway...yours is just coming in a bigger box with the record!
  5. id say its worth it. breathing toxic fumes>listening to atreyu Can't argue that logic...
  6. This label charges way too much to ship records. Almost as bad as interpunk. Not as bad as Blackout.
  7. i will do that soon! (don't worry I still have your OP!!! test!) I'm burning these individually and hand addressing them...so if I can sit around and burn a bunch extra for you I will...I really need to just get this pressed in bulk cd form...ugh.
  8. i have 120 copies of the first Atreyu CD that anyone can have for whatever.....a former roommate of mine worked at Victory, and never delivered the cds to the band/brought them back to V-dawg. make an offer... paying me to burn them IS an option...but it'll have to be a lot cause burning plastic is pretty toxic.
  9. that rules, I've been talking to Ronen via email about doing a commercial spot for the label. seriously awesome. gotta go listen now!
  10. Hey everyone, I want to send you a free 22 song label sampler CD, PM me with your address and I'll mail it out to you ASAP. If you're curious about my label, Underground Communique Records, you can visit undercomm.org ...which will kick you over to the UCR myspace page where you can find links to all the bands websites or myspace pages, listen to songs or even order records from me or from various sources(and conveniently, all the vinyl releases are available from Vinyl Collective). thanks! -justin.
  11. Yeah it was pretty surreal flipping through the records and seeing it...I did a double take and then kinda freaked out...I had no clue what the cover even looked like so I was pretty stoked.
  12. It was marked $20 but I got a discount from the clerk who paid me out for a bunch of old consignments for the label too. So I ended up paying $17 for it. Not too bad.
  13. Found the sludgeworth 7" last night...paid a little more than I would have liked, but since I've never actually SEEN a copy of that ever, I picked it up. Been looking for it for a good 8 years ever since I found out about them. Way cool. Plus, oddly enough the cover art is done by James O'Barr the guy who created the Crow comic book/movie franchise.
  14. mothafuckas be trippin. next time just email me and i'll go buy it for you. seriously. ...the poeple that work at those 3 stores, save 5-7 people, are complete morons.
  15. Said I got new dreams. Got New Dreams and I'm gonna make 'em real.
  16. Deathproof > Planet Terror Fucking amazing in theaters. I too am holding out until they come out on dvd together, fuckers. So frustrating that they did that.
  17. Haha...well...good luck with selling it, as I haven't sold a copy of that in months.
  18. i would love to order more from them...but with postage it about doubles the cost of the records
  19. From Ryan Patterson, on National Acrobat vinyl: "Only the "It's Nothing Personal" 7", everything else was just CD. Which seems totally weird in hindsight. Haha."
  20. Yeah... I know I sort of volunteered all these bands to search out...but they're pretty much all connected... btgog, ousia, endpoint, bc = rob pennington btgog, aassee lake, guilt, endpoint = d. barlow coliseum, nat acrobat, automatic, enkindel(s) = ryan p. br, yw, bc, nat acro = evan p. br, pusher = steve sindoni bc, br, yw, brain banger = nick thineman Pusher is also ex or mbrs of lords & coliseum. bc, sunspring = forrest Christiansen has the other guitar player from btgog That's all I can think of right now...I'm sort of obsessive of at least checking out the previous bands people were in... There are probably more connections than I realize too.... Pennington has some new band he does with his wife that I just heard about but don't know their name or anything about em other than they're completely not hardcore. Good night.
  21. J Church Society is... LP - FEST - No Idea sale Jud Jud demos 7" - FEST - No Idea sale Kungfu Rick Grinding to a Halt/live/"last" show LP friend of band/label that put it out i think that's it...yeah...not including the underground communique stuff which doesn't really count.
  22. i may have seen some vinyl...though i can't remember for sure. I emailed Ryan, i'll let you know what he says.
