  1. i'm too lazy to look through your list so from memory look for these bands: endpoint black cross by the grace of god ousia coliseum automatic YW / BR you have covered sunspring metroschifter enkindel / the enkindels national acrobat guilt aassee lake(somethin like that...a duncan barlow band) k. scott richter elliott those are the main bands...i'll rack my brain and think of more this weekend.
  2. wow...there are zero records in that list that i want (i already have a few)
  3. i don't think there are any of the box sets left unles scott has some besides our storage space.
  4. PS if he hates doing interviews this badly he should decide to not do interviews.
  5. well pete wentz used to be kind of nice...he's a rockstar now. period. he changed a lot and the fame went to his head...same shit with skiba...weird dudes. And like with every scene the dudes in big bands usually are just around at shows like everybody else...except pete was in a band that nobody cared about save 20-30 hardcore kids. when matt lived here, he was ALWAYS at shows. I certainly wasn't "name-dropping" those two are just the most shining examples of changing dramatically after gaining success. and moving away. i don't care, i don't like that band...my opinion is built on the fact that the dude keeps publicly making a complete ass of himself and i'm not even going to touch the story about him getting arrested for slamming that kids head into a conter top. that speaks volumes for the kind of person he is to me. i don't care about the dvd shit, i was just admitting to never watching it and their summary of it's contents, it has no bearing on my opinion of the band or gabel. yeah...the dude probably used to be cool, but i would never treat someone doing an interview with such contempt. it's like in Bull Durham where Kevin Costner's character schools Tim Robbins character on how to answer questions in interviews....which what all his email replies are... all i was trying to illustrate is that his decisions got him where he is...there are ways of answering questions you've answered 200 times and not being an arrogant asshole to the interviewer.
  6. but it all goes back to the fact they were obstinantly a "indie band" and put out a dvd that i'm told is all about them being courted by majors and talking about how they'll never sign with a major...then sign to a major.(i have not seen the dvd...this is just based on talking with friends who do like this band) i personally don't care, because i don't like that band and never have...i saw them on the axl tour and was bored out of my mind and thought they were borderline a joke...like watching Anti-Flag...just thought awww how cute the kids clap along 3-4 times during a 30 minute set. the dude just comes off as a prick way too much to not be one at all. most people in his position or higher have probably been cool. fuck, i used to hang out with pete wentz all the time...same with matt skiba. at some point these people move on from who they were when they started...we all do...it's part of maturing...and when they do turn that corner...it's over. also: who dug the hole they're neck deep in? this is like boy sets fire writing songs about being screwed by being on a major...duh! what the fuck did you think was going to happen?
  7. yeah in vinyl terms there is no "yellow" when it comes to dealing with plants. orange is most likely an opaque color...this is gold.
  8. no dice on the Connie Dungs...but i know i've seen that used around town as well as the Mushuganas single and split and the Traitors single. here's what he has(and mind you, i'm send these to Virgil so they'll be avaialble from Vinyl Collective soon:) Harmless: Lynyrd's Innards "Amscray" LP(black) Walker "Actually..." LP(black) Walker s/t 7"(black) Thirty Seconds Deep "Hot Carl" 7"(black)(pre-Cougars, Lando's 45) the Bollweevils / Walker split 7" (black) the Letterbombs "What the Hell..." 7"(red cover, blue vinyl) the Letterbombs "What the Hell..." 7"( brown cover, black vinyl) the Letterbombs / the Rodmans split 7"(pink) Lando's 45 s/t 7"(random colors, green, pink, yellow)(ex Bollweevils singer, Thirty Seconds Deep) the Wayouts "Cheap Merlot and luckies" 7"(black) Plastic Airlines Records: (this is Scott's post-Harmless hobby label...pretty much only does short run things for tours for random bands) Dreaming City "Deceptively Deceptive" 7"(black) Bleeding Kansas "Live on WLUW" 2x7"(black) that is all.
  9. i still have to send him the BC test pressing...I'm slacking.
  10. dude is a dick through and through...my friend's sister interviewed him a couple years ago and he was total prick to her and told her his band was bigger, better and more important than the Clash. What a sarcastic prick.
  11. the lynyrds innards LP is long gone...but i found one used recently, so i'll keep an eye out and buy one if it comes in used. I know he's out of the Chem Blue split for sure...going to check right now
  12. yeah if i was listed with Saves the day, i'd just create a thread and reply for a few hours with gibberish just to move myself out of alignment with such a terrible band.
  13. mrc, i live in the building that has alll the Harmless stuff in the basement...i'll check in like 20 minutes for the Connie Dungs 7". oh and just message Marc from No Empathy at the Das Kapital myspace page...which is his new band....and they are awesome....and they have vinyl.
  14. alexis, they have a chicago office too...i think i can go there, knock on the door and buy stuff if not my distributor can get whatever you need and i can buy it at a discounted price, then mail it to you. PM me
  15. i'm friends with the suicide note dudes, i'll see if jason has anymore of the splits
  16. yeah....had Go never happened I'd be totally stoked right now. they've burned that bridge down and it's a long way down that cliff and back up the other side.
  17. i was trying for more recent things...fuck that movie came out like 10 years ago.... but aside from that, absolutely one of my favorite movies ever, despite all the hype. "where ya goin? nowh-eeaaah!"
  18. Conoley not Cononley. Conoley not Cononley. Conoley not Cononley. Conoley not Cononley. Conoley not Cononley.
  19. Andy was also in killtheslavemaster and I guess in some version of vegan reich too. Racetraitor used to call people crackers too...that's what they're more known for. Also the Botch song C. Thomas Howell as the Soul Man on we are the romans is about Racetraitor. Read the lyrics it makes sense. I think they're more infamously known outside of Chicago because of all the stories about them rather than their music.
