If it hasn't been mentioned later in the thread: Singing Dog closed a couple years ago, sadly. I had a spot on the shelf behind the register reserved for my ashes upon my demise. but now we have Spoonful downtown, just had 2nd anniversary. on facebook here. and blog here. I still morne the loss of the Dog, but Spoonful is a very close next best. super friendly too

I know traditionally picture discs sound like crap (the few I have do), but what about 180 gram picture discs? (or are they all about 180 grams anyway?). Might be worth it if it were a double set on multicolored, but not so sure being a picture disc.

the time to get these is when they have a coupon in the ad for 75% off, i think once a year. if you can get a manager to combine with the sale price like I did- they are a steal for $1.25! Michael's also has plastic frames that look almost identical, in 3 packs for $14.99 or $9.99 on sale. Combine that with 75% off and they're 83¢ per frame I got them even cheaper- I bought a $100 gift card/store credit (verified at register) from a guy in the store for $40 cash, making the frames 53¢ each for me (bought 52 total metal & plastic). Was my bargain of the year!!

Is there a light green version of this like pictured on the web site, or is that just pre-production mock-up, kinda like MMJ's glowing green pics of Circuital but it turned out dark green? Thanks!

I'm guilty of getting caught up in the colored vinyl craze lately- especially swirls- will go outta my way and pay more for any color variant over the black pressing. just makes it a little more fun I guess. I wish they'd start making heavy-weight picture discs so they might sound as good as non-picture discs. Speaking of colored pressings, anyone know anywhere selling Fu Manchu's In Search Of in blue?
