Useless but fun! So many possibilities. Reminds me of those pencil eraser tops from grade school like the Flintstones and some others I had. I think it’s fun, I like swapping turntable mats to something relative to what I’m playing- the artist, label, store I bought it from, etc.. have a lot custom made for favorite artists. I wouldn’t pay more than a few bucks for these but I’d collect some faves if they made ‘em. When they only make 100 of Alien for $30 and the only way to get one is on eBay for 100 bucks tho I’ll be over it.

Do these guys have one or two people packing / shipping a few orders a day or what? I know I’m impatient but damn..

LP20 discount code was still working late last night when I ordered this with some other stuff for 20% off and free ship from soundstagedirect.com I wasn't about to pay $36+tax locally knowing the packaging is as basic as it gets.

Using that 30% off GoHastings code I was lucky to get 7 LPs in 3 different orders all packed well and in perfect shape including some double 180g's, each order everything shipped together. A 4th order of 6 CDs on the other hand.. they are a mess- coming from 4 different places, one by UPS. 2 have arrived and look like they were fished out of a dumpster. dirt cheap tho!

I added another pic of inside the box. It would have been ok if the box wasn't as heavy as it is. Mine took enough of a hit to the side to break thru a spot, the corners might have held otherwise. The records are snug inside so no splits or damage occurred.

Arrived today, bouncing around inside a bigger box with no padding. shrink is a little scuffed/split but all else with packaging is good. Albums are all sealed inside, nice gatefolds. Haven't opened any yet. I guess the flaps were designed/glued to provide some stable space but mine was bouncing around.

Has it been confirmed anywhere that the 2LP is pink for all regions? RSD claims exclusivity for the double pink, but maybe that means for a US release?

Nuthin' to be jealous of- email today says they rarely split an order but since the Lanegan box has its own custom shipping box, they sent the in-stock items separate. Now my entire order shows as shipped in my acct, so I hope it's not passed over when they do start shipping the box set..

I just received a ship notice an hour ago from Sub Pop. My order includes the box, Blues Funeral, Bubblegum, and a SP slipmat. Email doesn't give details (tracking# doesn't register yet- I paid for 3 day UPS) but my acct shows the full order as shipped.

any pics to post yet? this have the same old orange or red label?
