The Vinyl Vault in Littleton is closest (i live just down the street), but is all used, nothing new, and mostly classic rock stuff. The owners are friendly enough and the prices seem fair, but you're unlikely to find much released in the last 15 years. Lowell is probably your best bet (mentioned above). Worcester and Natick each have a couple small shops, but from Westford its probably quicker to just go into cambridge/boston. I think Newbury's kept out smaller competition in the past, and now that they sell more tshirts and toys than records there isn't not a whole lot in the area.

Picked this up at Newbury Comics over the weekend during their 35% off sale for $6.50. Wish it was gatefold, have a weird hatred for double LPs in a single sleeve, but for that price I can't complain. Hope those of you dealing with Best Buy fiasco end up getting it straightened out, great song selection.

Be glad yours came in a box, ordered the same album and it came in a bubble envelope with "DO NOT BEND" written on it; of course every corner was bent. Luckily the record was in one piece. The other record I ordered (jayhawks) was well packed in a cardboard mailer, but given the inconsistency I don't think I will be ordering records from goHastings again.

Bought some stuff from him back in September(!!) Got all but one item, he kept insisting media mail was just being slow. Never gave me a tracking number. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and have tried to work with him, even accepting a lesser item since the one I bought was "lost" which hasn't shown up either. After this thread it looks like you can add me to the long list of those burned.

This happened when I ordered both the Wilco and Jayhawks bundles a while back. They both ended up saying it was backordered, even though they were still selling them on their site as "In Stock" (at a slightly higher non-sale price). Their response was pitiful: "Also, please note that the current item offered on Pop Market may differ from the one you placed an order for earlier as there is a difference in the price. Hence, the stocks may differ likewise." Anyways it did eventually come, but took a couple months. With zero communication until I contacted them. Pretty terrible for a major-label (Sony) backed website
