Yea.. asshole sites that want to capitalize on people's excitement sometimes jump the gun on a preorder with a crazy markup. Amazon does it too, but luckily they have their best price policy and also don't charge you till it ships. You can rest assured the band will make a big deal about this. They did for R2T and it was nowhere near as big for them as UTTAD.

What do you mean? There aren't any pressing details yet.. Just a listing on a site that consistently posts preorder listings before they have all the details. That's why I said I hope R2T is an indicator as to quality. Foil stamped. Super heavyweight. Songs spread nicely across the discs. Completely remixed and remastered for vinyl from the original sources. The packaging was superb. And all that for $27. I was happy with that as a 20th (+/-) anniversary release.

I think I like it because it embraces the idea that heroes aren't the only ones with origin stories. I hope they spend a good amount of time dedicated to developing the budding villains.

Yea r2t was right at or slightly over $40 when elusive disc jumped the gun on the press release. I think Amazons best price feature ended up being like $27. Also, if you're even slightly into dmb, and r2t was any indication on the quality they will be putting into these presses, $27 is a fucking great deal with this level of attention to detail.

Going to be out of the country but so far it looks like I shouldn't be too bummed. I do NEEED that DMB release and I'm sure there will be a couple more if anyone on here could help me out. I've helped a few ppl out on here before, just looking for some love this year as this trip is unavoidable.

I think the Penguin is my favorite character. Extremely well played. Like I said in my previous comment- some pretty thin dialogue at some points but overall I'm a fan. I think the incessant beating-over-the-head with "future villain" references will taper off as the season goes on; I do hope they are more artful with their introduction of the joker however. The thing to remember is that this is a mass market, major network show and they aren't necessarily catering solely to mouth-breathing bat-nerds like me. Not everyone they are hoping to attract is going bring with them the prior knowledge of the world of batman. Just my two cents.

Yea there were definitely some PAINFULLY badly written/delivered lines. Overall though, I too am pretty excited for this season.

Man the in game dialogue, tongue in cheek criticism of clash of clans has been HILARIOUS. Shit got kinda real tonight though when I reached far enough in the quests to start getting criticized by the game... Still love it though.
