  1. yep. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. On one hand, I don't automatically get this in the subscription and may have to order a gigantic bundle to get the rarest variant, but on the other hand, there might only be two variants and I won't have to choose between the 5 or more that No Sleep usually release.
  2. -Update- Spoke to a friend of mine who is there (long story short, we bought her tickets and flights and accom for her birthday) and apparently the DJs were actually really good. She was expecting them to be some electronic generic stuff (and I did too when I first heard that DJs would be supporting) but they were actually people from basically the only alternative/punk night clubs that exist here, which was apparently a well-received surprise. A live support would have been nice but this was pretty good. Sorry Lockie, thought they would be some generic club DJ! This was done by one of the DJs if anyone is interested:
  3. In December 2011 I won a competition to watch Foo Fighters from the side of the stage, and they flew me to Melbourne and everything. Tenacious D were supporting, as well as Fucked Up, and both bands watched the Foos play from the same platform as me. Jack Black was a super cool guy. There were also a few Aussie comedians that I met there (not sure if any of you have heard of Andy Lee, but he's well known here). That's the only thing remotely exciting that has ever happened, really.
  4. I won the jackpot on the very first scratch ticket I did, but no luck since then
  5. Didn't expect that glitch to work but glad it did! Thanks! Also, logged in again this afternoon and I've gone back to having 6 donuts (my 2 original donuts plus 3 from leveling up and another from cleaning up debris). Maybe it's been patched?
  6. Every time you open up the game, during the lengthy loading screen it should say 'Welcome back, (your username)'. And I also only play it while on the shitter or if I can't sleep If anyone wants to add me, mine is nickmitch777
  7. The 2012 Soundwave Festival was easily the best for me. It's great every year but here are a few highlights: Saw Fireworks with a crowd of approximately 30 people, which made it weirdly cool and intimate. Underoath also played and I was lucky enough to have a lengthy phone conversation with Spencer later on, since my girlfriend ran into them while stalking Taylor Swift at the airport. But letlive were definitely the best thing I've ever seen. Still speechless from that performance sometimes when I think about it. During the first ten seconds, Jason had tilted a speaker to its side and kicked it off stage, snagging a security guard in the back of the head. He also climbed on the railings, and did a flip into the temporary fencing. The stage was running about 5 minutes late though so the sound dudes cut off their set halfway through their last song, and Jason was getting angry. The drummer just kept playing, and Jason took some drumsticks too and just started hitting the cymbals as crazy as he could. He then dragged the drum platform across the floor, and threw some drums everywhere and did a flip into what was left of the kit. Amazing.
  8. A friend and I also split the shipping and both ordered splits. Luckily, I received two splits. Hope all works out for you!
  9. I agree. Definitely will be cutting down. Shipping was already crazy from some stores already.
  10. Still no 7" pack after getting the 12" pack on Tuesday. Weird.
  11. Not a bad day today: Fucked Up - Year of the Tiger 12" Joyce Manor - ST/OATIWSGT cassette Robotosaurus - Manhater cassette Borderlands 2 for PS3
  12. Always excited for new 50 Lions. Will be ordering this tomorrow when I get paid.
  13. My 12" pack arrived today. Bit disappointed with the slipmat (the fact that it's not a sub exclusive, is an oval shape, and has roman numerals for 2011 rather than 2012). Also, as someone said already, only special b-side labels on Lowtalker and Major League. I don't know why, but it could be because the others had the tracklist for each side on the labels? Possibly? Who knows. Keen to get the 7" pack but overall I'd say it was a pretty good investment since most records cost a shitload in shipping costs.
  14. Ok so following this up, I sent an email to MerchDirect and they said they would pass my information on to Solid State as it was a manufacturing issue. I didn't hear anything back after that so I thought it was still being looked into. Today, I received an LP mailer that had been sent express from the US with an EMI sticker on the front (which I thought was weird since I didn't remember ordering anything from EMI). Sure enough, inside was the blue 10" with a little note apologizing for the issue and saying that I can keep the ones that I was originally sent. Top service!
  15. Weren't we meant to get a sticker pack as well or something?
  16. Ordered from RFC three or four times now. Always great service and sturdy packaging. Also, it's good that they keep us updated if there is a delay. Only had a very minor problem once beyond their control with the Tigers Jaw records where they were in transit for about 5 weeks (usually takes a package 1.5-2 weeks to arrive from the states; maybe 2-2.5 over Xmas) but they arrived here in the end!
  17. I didn't get shipping confirmation either, but tracking has been updated in the order history part of my account so try that! Also, from Twitter it looks like the 12" and 7"s are in two separate packages
  18. /500, according to Topshelf's site http://www.topshelfrecords.bigcartel.com/product/code-orange-kids-full-of-hell-split-7-inch
