  1. Got mine today. Record arrived in decent shape, there was a bit of a crease in the top left corner of the jacket and some minor seam splits on the inner sleeve but nothing terrible. The record sounds really good and I haven't noticed an abnormally large amount of popping, just the odd one here or there. That's vinyl. The record (red swirl) is definitely one of the prettiest I own and the T-shirt is awesome.
  2. I'd go see this if it didn't mean having to go to Heavy T.O.
  3. I honestly haven't listened to them yet, I just gave the album a spin. It sounds excellent, by the way.
  4. It's black. The demos are "Hating Makes Hate OK" and "I'm Afraid Of The Lost Parade."
  5. Kind of wishing I grabbed the Florence + The Machine 7". I don't listen to her much but that's one of the best pop songs on the radio right now. Hopefully some stores in Toronto have copies left when I go on Tuesday.
  6. Had no idea this was so hard to find. I picked one up for a friend who didn't have luck with his stores. Store I was at seemed to have like one copy of every limited record and hardly anyone was there.
  7. Not to make you guys anxious, but The Red Tree sounds reaally good. Fantastic packaging too.
  8. First store charged $15 for Alexisonfire, second store charged $30 for Moneen.
  9. I feel bad for all of you people who couldn't find the Refused album, the stores I went to had a bunch of them and no one seemed to be buying. I didn't get one myself, because I already have the black. Anyways, here's my haul (pic kinda sucks). Only thing I couldn't get was the Mastodon/Feist split. The first store I went to had sold out of both Mastodon splits and the second store only had the Flaming Lips split (owner's a big Flaming Lips fan).
  10. Mine was fairly mediocre. Bummed they didn't send me any Ceremony or Crime In Stereo despite me requesting their CDs. Vinyl: Energy "Walk Into The Fire" 7" - Orange New Found Glory "Tip Of The Iceberg" 7" - Black Strike Anywhere 7" H2O T-Shirt Polar Bear Club, Lemuria, and Strike Anywhere stickers New Found Glory and Ambitions posters CDs: Ceremony "Still Nothing Moves You" Crime In Stereo "I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone" Lemuria "Pebble" Polar Bear Club "Chasing Hamburg" Anger Regiment album Wrecking Crew album Panic album that friggin' Energy album I'll probably still order one next year. I'm really enjoying the Strike Anywhere 7".
  11. First RSD for me, planning on going to Encore Records in Kitchener. Think I'll have any trouble with the lineup?
  12. The most absurd part of this is that someone bought a Train record.
  13. The worst is when it's on so tight that it pulls the corners and leaves its own crease. I ordered Year Of The Tiger for myself and a friend and both of our copies had bent corners as a result of this.
  14. Godspeed, This Will Destroy You, and 65daysofstatic are probably my top 3. Godspeed is number one by a country mile, no one makes post-rock like they do.
  15. This is also the first time I've ordered a mystery anything. Grabbed #3 like most others. 12.55 to ship to Canada. Not bad, since that's about what I'd be paying for a single LP at Interpunk.
  16. I never, ever do this, but I'll try and hold off just this once I think.
  17. Got my red in yesterday. It's purdy, haven't had a chance to spin it yet though.
  18. Didn't get a shipping notice but, according to their website, mine's shipped. It'd be nice if it came by the end of the week.
