  1. So I'm looking at a new turntable in the $500 range and was thinking about either a Throens or a Music Hall. The two specifically I'm looking at are the MMF2.2 and TD158. Any thoughts on either of those two?
  2. Just fyi I'd be careful about ordering these because of the text of the do not announce email Good Afternoon, Many of you are starting to get your hands on our April 21st new release book. In that book you will see two modest mouse reissues – one for “Building Nothing Out Of Something” and “Interstate 8.” THESE SHOULD NOT BE ON ANY WEBSITES. Please do not put these on any preorder sites or web stores until 3/25. The band will be announcing on 3/25. Do not put this anywhere until then. Please keep this off all sites on 3/25. If anyone begins to announce prior to 3/25, they may run the risk of not receiving product. Thank you for understanding.
  3. You guys I just got a call to schedule an interview at a big hospital in Philly to do counseling for them. I am freaking out
  4. We got these in at work yesterday, amazing release. The 7" has its own jacket inside of the LP jacket. Pretty sweet. Love that they can do all this crazy stuff and still keep the price reasonable.
  5. Honestly can't tell you, but its one of the ones that has been stuck in my head since I heard it on friday
  6. To me it sounds like a natural progression from We Were Dead. The band hasn't sounded the same on any two releases and thats one thing I really like about them. You never really know what to expect with them. As for them being a two different bands between the 90's and now I disagree. Issac still has those same out there introspective lyrics, talks about the west and weird stuff, and they use a lot of the same distortion (my wife calls it the empty tea kettle noise) and tones, as well as horns that they've used on a ton of releases
  7. Jumping in to agree. Lampshades On Fire, Coyotes, Be Brave, and Sugar Boats are awesome. Really I enjoyed the whole album aside from Pistol, but even that is growing on me
  8. Dear god. I thought vinyl hit its low point with the Napoleon Dynamite soundtrack, but this takes it to a much lower point. To think that other records had to wait for this to be pressed
  9. Preview he posted that clearly shows Rocko Edit: theres also a picture on IG that shows the back with all the songs. 41 songs on the lp...
  10. I guess we can all quit collecting records now, since our collections will be complete
  11. My money is on that being a record of songs from Doug. Looks like Skeeters shirt.
  12. Nope its just a null listing. Basically there to let people know it exists and will be available to order in the future so they can add the info into their systems. HI I MISS YOU TOO. All of the small talk people actually. My life has been consumed by counseling and school for the last ~10 months but I graduate at the end of april and will come into a ton of free time to bullshit with you guys!
  13. All that means is its not available to order yet, just letting people know its available, it is by no means sold out yet Edit: forgot to add, posting in a brand new thread
  14. Awesome! I tweeted them asking about new music and they said soon, glad its with you guys!
  15. Amazing band that more people need to get excited about. This 7" and the LP you guys put out are phenomenal
  16. You speak the truth, whomever decided today would be a very shitty day is working hard to make sure that comes true
