  1. yes can't wait to pre-order this - this is the best RFC release of 2013
  2. I need to go through this thread and follow some of you.
  3. yeah I'd say he's going to jail for a while. all this evidence is pretty damning.
  4. "Deputy District Attorney Claudia Grasso, who had asked for bail as high as $20 million, told the judge that the couple’s relationship suffered a major blow in August of last year when Tim Lambesis was on tour with his band. He sent an email to his wife saying he no longer loved her and did not want to be with her anymore. He also wrote in the email that he no longer believed in God, the prosecutor said. The wife learned that Lambesis had been having affairs with other women. She filed for divorce in September, citing “irreconcilable differences” and alleging that her husband had become obsessed with bodybuilding and going to the gym. She said in court documents that she was concerned about her husband’s ability to care for their children."
  5. sounds like they have a lot of proof - I think he's definitely fucked
  6. no? I meant the "good luck" as in good luck to everyone going to the shows/not going to the shows haha
  7. Good luck @headabovewater: Got everything set for the rec release variants of TGG thanks to @coldcutsmerch & @sirenrecords. Each city gets it own variant limited to 50
  8. really this is turning out to be a fantastic year of new music - it seems like almost all my favorite bands are releasing something new.
  9. the point I'm making is that everyone is so quick to judge an album (whether you think it's good or bad) so quickly - the album has been leaked for less than a day and people are already like "pssh sucks" or "omg it's the best thing ever" immediately without letting it really sink and shit.
  10. I don't care what someone thinks about the record, I do care when someone accuses the band of coasting or mailing it in when I know for a fact that wasn't the case. I may be 16.
  11. haha I didn't say that. Dismissing an opinion isn't the same as saying that person is wrong - I've clearly stated it's okay to dislike it or be disappointed in it.
  12. no one knows exactly - I would guess sometime next week, given that it'll be a little less than a month to go until it releases
  13. it's definitely not a cut and paste, listen to the album again, maybe give it 5 or 7 more listens.
  14. it is downright incorrect. They definitely didn't coast on this record. It's okay if you dislike it but to say they didn't try hard or they just phoned in everything is wrong. And it's okay if you have the total opposite opinion as me. I don't give a shit. But everyone here has only heard the album as of 8 or so hours ago and everyone is already making snap judgments on this album, which is why I'm not taking anyone's opinion too seriously. There is a lot of nuance and really cool stuff musically on this album that their previous albums didn't have. I didn't truly start to appreciate this album until a few weeks after I first heard it. So give it some time. Or just blow it off, I don't care.
  15. it's okay to dislike this album or be let down but to say that the band fucking coasted on this release is just downright incorrect and kind of disrespectful.
  16. same here. I love To The Beat and Parting but if they evolve and have a few songs in the vein of Gravity (as in expanding their sound etc) that'll be great. A good mixture of that and their bread and butter would be awesome.
  17. completely writing off albums that have only been available for the last few hours - well done internet!
