Why does it matter? Also yeah I think these would look better translucent, especially the orange. I doesn't matter to some. But a lot of (or most of) the people on here like to collect more limited records. So, if that's not your thing (which seeing as you list how limited your records are on your tradelist, I'd say it is), let others like what they like.

Glad to see someone mention Mouse on the Keys. Really liked their last album. I haven't listened to much post-rock lately, but I really liked Laura - Radio Swan is Down back in my college days. I'll have to check out some of what's mentioned. I hate the pretentious argument about instrumental music. It's pretentious if someone is saying, "this music is more pure than other music, it's pure emotion, not bogged down by catchy lyrics, etc." But if its just music someone enjoys listening to, how is that pretentious?

I would guess they'll all be the same. I think for all of their records (except the glow in the dark Frances the Mute), they've only had one version of each. The whole pressing has been the same.

Why would you keep the sealed one, when the best part of this release is the gorgeous green vinyl? I think marble vinyl, in general, is pretty cheap looking. But, just my opinion.

Yeah, I ordered a couple of records two nights ago, and put back a couple because I didn't want to spend that much, and those ones I put back are now back to regular price. Like Tom Waits - Closing Time. I should've got them for cheap when I had the chance. Oh well.

I'm not mad at all, and I realize the legitimate reasons for ordering more than one. I'm just saying, with all of the bitching about people buying multiple copies to flip them, there is an easy solutions of limiting one copy per order. There are a lot of online stores that do this, so it's not anything new. So again, you can't have it both ways. If you allow people to buy more than one copy, there will be people that buy a ton to put on eBay. But, this also allows for international people to save on shipping, buying gifts for friends, etc. If you fall into the latter category, you can't complain about others buying more than one copy with less admirable intentions, because it allows for your to do the same to help others out. Calm down everyone.

Why not just limit every order to 1 copy? Ordering records for friends? That's either a lie, or you have lazy friends. Tell your friends to stop being such pieces of shit and order their own records. Just post on the order page "limit 1 per order. If you order more, the additional copies will be cancelled and you will received 1 copy."

how are the random swirl variants gonna be inserted? are they gonna be in place of the brown copy? or by being the luck out of /50 you get two copies of the record? and if so in a generic white sleeve or another jacket, really curious. thank you. They will be in place of the brown copy. You will only get one record. And it will look pretty much like the brown, with a little bit of white in it.

Curiously, how does one find out about a release like this if they don't frequent this message board? I have seen nothing posted by Thrice or Dustin about this. I saw that this was posted on absolutepunk.net as well. But other than that, and here (or maybe deadformat), one probably wouldn't really hear about this.

I think I like the white version better, but I ordered a brown just in case I have problems getting one from HT. The brown is cool too though.

Clearance vinyl doesnt go straight to 50% off anymore. There's Nothing Left to Lose is now like $18, marked down from $25. Yeah, that's a bummer. Understandable from your end, but a bummer on mine.
