I dunno were they pressed in a similar fashion as a picture disc or was it a different process altogether?

of course, i know it's been said, but BC/TJ is the perfect example. problem is finding two good "up and coming" bands like that. good luck.

GSOI is pretty terrible, to the point that when I heard it 6 years ago I figured I would never listen to another TWY song again.  Glad I did.  That being said, I would buy it if it got pressed.  But if anything that a band doesn't want to get pressed were to be pressed, I would vote for B&C IJWTBP.  

Seems like a fine idea to me. Existing fans of either band will likely pick it up and maybe find a new band they like. If not they got the material they wanted all the same. It's a little more expensive for the fan to buy a 12" over a 7", but a lot of the time I prefer a single sided 12" over a 7" anyway. Better continuity in the 3-5 songs when you don't have to flip half way through.

I must've missed where this info came from, but I would assume it's some sort of early press like the tour version of the Vinnie Caruana solo EP. He's had that version (black, blank labels, no bside etching) for quite some time and RFC is just now getting the official release versions in now.

You got a few weeks until pre-orders. This, Daylight, and Whirr 7" will go up at the same time along with one or two other things.
 
Bloom is the closest song to their old stuff, the rest has a fairly different sound. It's really good. The next song you will hear is insane.

After three EPs, Caravels has recorded their long awaited debut full length called Lacuna. Lacuna was live tracked at Palms Studios in Las Vegas, NV with engineer Robert Katz (Death Cab For Cutie, Goo Goo Dolls, The Offpsing). We will be releasing Lacuna on March 26th, 2013 and features artwork by Charlie Wagers.
The first pressing of this record is out of 1,000 and split between 200 clear with blue splatter, 300 clear with blue haze, and 500 grey. This item is for a single LP of Lacuna and a digital download. Digital downloads will be sent on or just before the release date of March 26th, 2013.
