Yeah, after the ignorance that was rampant through the "why do people have gauged ears?" post and now posting links to gay porn sites? I would definitely throw my vote in to ban thankyoubasedgod. Even I don't necessarily like or support adhering or limiting ones self to a certain "scene" or "image" but I'm not dumb enough to start a thread asking "can anyone tell me why people like certain things?"

Even without SRC/Jenna/Juan/Mod intervention these boards have cleaned up a fair bit... people seem to be keeping it to the Everything Else section of the board for the most part, which is great. Vast improvement for the board.

#1. Cheap solution. Go buy a .25 cent record from GoodWill and keep it on the turntable at all times. You can buy a custom acrylic cover for about $60, or make one yourself if you're handy. Dustcovers are actually bad for record play back. If you notice, high end tables don't come with one. They are only good for when the turntable isn't in use.
#2. Besides the 2 screws there are also 4 wires that connect the tonearm to the cartridge. If you have a local hi-fi shop, I'd recommend letting them change your cartridge.

your internet speed is only one very small variable in the overall speed achieved when downloading a torrent. have you tried another torrent? perhaps one with a lot of seeds?
