Off the top, it sounds like a scholarly or peer reviewed article. Have you tried Google scholarly? Sounds interesting, share it if you find it.

I wonder if deluxe could mean something other than 2xlp. I'll be buying it though, I don't buy multiple copies of records, but a 2xlp version is different because I said so.

I think Horse Heaven hold's up just as the S/T. I like it just as much. Their 7", Yellow Life Giver, is really good as well, I'd recommend checking that out, it can had for cheap on discogs, or still available from No Idea I believe.

probably but i dont think you could succeed in this market without offering some novelty options especially as you are trying to restart production and cater to the "indie" crowd.  however, short runs on black are totally reasonable, i think.

 

You may be right about this, but I disagree. There are plenty of us out there who don't care about color or novelty. I'd rather have a plain record for $12, than a record plus some bullshit poster for $20. A lot of people shop at distros, stores, flea markets or shows that don't even know about that special limited version. Color means nothing to me, I don't purchase based on color or any extras. I purchase because I like the music. Press all records on black, fine by me. Actually, to all labels...please do this.

PUNISHMENT

I was speechless when I got this thing. It's amazing just to own this, I was never even sure if it was the same Appleseed Cast. The songs are killer as well, really good Ring Wars type songs. Very delighted to own it and listen to it.  

My girlfriend hooked it up for my birthday.

 

Saw this band play last night. I highly recommend this album/live show to everyone, really fun time and they sounded great. 

 

I went for Protomartyr, who are awesome as well, highly recommend them as well.

I listened to their first 12" so many times, it just never stuck with me. I'm interested to hear this though. I feel like I should really get into their stuff.

Its pretty cool. It's a big mess of colors, kind of goes with the feel of the music I guess.
