  1. I'm kind of worried about Saturday. It def. seems like I'm going to miss a few solid bands. Friday looks like the weakest of the days. Nada Surf is playing at the University on Thursday for free. I think I'm going to try and hit that before some house shows and binge drinking.
  2. I've been meaning to get Skate, but there's too many good games out at the moment.
  3. Ahh, I posted my pictures before I read the thread, you beat me to it, sorta.
  4. Umbrella-ella-ella-ella-ella-ella-ella. I love that song, especially the Lil Mama remix.
  5. I knew I heard of this before and I'm sure you have before, but for those who haven't I thought this was a very interesting article to share: http://www.kempa.com/blog/archives/000053.html
  6. It shouldn't be too hard to get off on the Internet...oh wait, I read that title wrong
  7. The Lawrence Arms played somewhere in Chicago on or around New Years two years ago. My birthday is on New Years and my friend Ehryn got all of the dudes to sign the set list for me. I think she even had them play a song for me, even though I was miles away in Pittsburgh.
  8. What is this a skate video? Kidding, check your pms rrd.
  9. Are you struggling to track down Thursday records? I think a shop near me as a copy of War All the Time for like $7-8.
  10. I'm more excited for Rock Band and I generally think everyone else should be too. I'll be buying both games, because I'm a nerd and rich. However, if you have to get one or the other I highly suggest the Rock Band bundle. I got to play the game at PAX two months ago and it was flat out amazing! The drumming was so much fun, but the guitars also felt 10x better than Guitar Heroes. Also, Rock Band is doing some tours in some cities I believe. I was out in Pittsburgh cultural / bar district (the South Side) and there was a van decorated in Rock Band logos and all that jazz. They had a TV inside the van and people in the streets were playing.
  11. Where do u keep the TPS reports? TPS reports are for foolz. I'm in IT (assistant network administrator). I read peoples e-mails and surf VC all day, jkzzz.
  12. I've been listening to this record this morning and I'm trying hard to like it, but its such a disappointment. I don't think I'll be purchasing it...
  13. Look no further than the man's avatar above me. Apathy & Exhaustion is my favorite Larry Arms record, no question about it.
  14. The Skiba picture is from an issue of Alt. Press. The Schrute picture came from Spin I think, I could be wrong. I'm about to add a Jim and Pam picture from Entertainment magazine. I've also added a Finding Nemo Pez Despender and a few more concert tickets that I had in my wallet to the mess. I earned the Schrute Buck for defeating a squirrel in the parking lot, then getting it stuffed and displaying it in the entrance way, heh. Not pictured to the right is a Horse the Band picture of the Pizza EP and a Pittsburgh Pirate's calendar.
  15. Is it time for the Fest yet? I cannot wait any longer. I should just put myself in a coma until late October.
  16. I'm chiming in so late, but I cannot believe so many people are fans of the Yankees and Sox. It's like saying "I like the team that wins every year." You have to see this from my perspective though. I'm from Pittsburgh and my baseball team has just wrapped up its 15th losing season. Baseball NEEDS a salary cap, bad. I know the Pirates have done a terrible job over the last few years at drafting, scouting, and playing the free agent market. And even though teams like the Indians, Brewers, Angels, and A's have succeeded somewhat, they can never constantly compete with teams like the Red Sox and Yankees who will always have payrolls several times the size of small and mid-level market teams. I hardly consider the Red Sox vs Yankees as the greatest rivalry in sports history. Watching two wallets fight isn't entertaining. I would rather watch teams that grow their talent in house battle it out, rather than singing tons of free agents at top dollar to do the battling. The rivalries in other pro sports like the NFL and the NHL are much more captivating.
  17. This is inspired by the tv/computer thread. Here is my cubicle from a few weeks ago:
  18. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THOSE GET UP KIDS PAINTINGS ABOVE YOUR TV! If I had any artistic talent I would do that! It gives me ideas for when I move out though. Did you make those?
