If you've made up your mind to buy the cheapest, functional player you can, get the Audio Technica. It's the best in its tier. That being said, everyone here is rightfully going to tell you to dish out the money for a real system.

Well I know the SLL guys were adamant about doing these represses themselves through fasaden, so whatever Topshelf gets will come from the 500 copies that SLL has in Sweden. I'm not really upset haha. I wanted the Sore Eyelids and Via Fondo records as well. Of course, if they all show up in Topshelf's store for half the price shipped I'll be pretty bummed haha.

The Swedish shipping rates are pretty killer but if you're a huge fan like me, this is a no brainer. Got two copies, one for myself and one for my roommate who is at work. So stoked/thrilled to see this pressed.

I agree with kurtz. A lot of my favorite music is primarily or only released on vinyl. As such, I'm invested in the format, so when something new I like comes out on CD and vinyl, I buy it on vinyl as well.

Also, don't buy this record from Best Buy...

I bought this not too long ago, never got any of the downloads. Kind of a bummer but I'm still stoked, Jowls are unbelievable.

That really does look beautiful. Can't wait for it to go on sale.

Yeah, I've felt less and less inclined to post for the past couple of years. It's still a great place to keep up with stuff though.

I've got a first press of this but I picked up a red copy anyway. They're still available so I don't feel too greedy haha.

I grabbed a three pack earlier as well. Heir is my undisputed favorite record ever and, depending on when you ask me, Suis La Lune is my favorite band. Everyone who is into Suis La Lune needs to get Via Fondo's 7" as well. They share a couple members and have a very similar vibe. Also, keep up with Sore Eyelids on Facebook. They're another SLL offshoot of the same beautiful nature and they're about to release their first record.
