It's good to see someone knows who they are. It's so bizarre that for a band that have been around for almost 30 years, they are still unknown to an extent to people under 30 outside of Australia.

I ordered it the day it went up. Didn't even listen to it, just went for it cos Tiny Engines hasn't failed me yet.

There's not too many bands i got crazy over trying to collect everything but THE HARD-ONS is one of them. Australia's greatest punk rock band. All on black vinyl unless you can see vinyl colour. 7"ers LPs COMPs

Great shop! Visited there in 2009 when I travelled the states. Cleveland and surrounding suburbs has great record stores.

Do MerchNow usually take 2 months to send records? I ordered some things back at the start of March and I still haven't received them. Have emailed them and got a notification that they are sending them out soon but yet still haven't received anything. Are they usually this slow?

Haha, I'm not sure why you own the record at all? "Dream Police" is a great song, but that record, eh Maybe you're just a huge CT fan. It looks very High Fidelity. CHEAP TRICK are awesome. Own every album. Huge fan of their melodic rock n roll and i think Robin is one of the best voices in the business. Huge fan of CT. To be told my collection is very High Fidelity is a great compliment as it's one of my all time favourite movies.

Thanks. I haven't attempted the High Fidelity cataloging of everything autobiographical yet. It's all in alphabetical. It's 6 rows high which is heaps taller than I am (5'10") and I think I need to invest in one of those library foot ladders. According to my list, it's just under 2300 LPs. This is why I have never started a Dead Format page. It would be far too much work and since I'm not into buying variants of the same record (unless it has different cover art), do people really want to know that I actually own 3 copies of CHEAP TRICK's Dream Police? (I forgot I owned it and kept buying it from $1 record fairs).

This is mine. It's along one wall of my bedroom. It's getting a bit beyond the joke now.

Wow! Tim Pop Kid... I used to get records off this guy years ago. That Horace Goes Skiing 7" is still a classic!

I picked a copy up at The Warfield show in San Francisco and it has 2xLP on Red, DVD, CD and poster. Each record is housed in a printed sleeve. If you want photos, let me know and I will take one. Hope that helps.

In Australia we have this store called the REJECT SHOP. They sell these small book shelves for like $15 or $20 and I use a couple of them to store all my 7"ers and they hold about 1000 each. I can show you a photo of what I use if you want so you can see if a shop has anything similar. It's a good look and works well with the rest of the shelves i have for records.

Ordered this today. Got the split green and yellow deluxe. When I spoke to John earlier this year, he told me about this release and said the company that made the Touche Amore record is putting this one together. If you've seen the quality of that then you'll know how this one will look. I think he mentioned that the book is all different types of art relating to each song or something like that. Regardless, this is going to be a great piece of art all round. I got it sent to a friends house in the USA because the shipping is ridiculous to Australia. Figured if I buy a lot of different orders from different labels and got them all sent to a friends in the USA and then the whole lot sent here in one big lot, it would work out a lot cheaper overall. Yep. Good idea that.

When you log into Paypal, there is a Contact Us option and it gives you the Australian 1800 number to call. That's what I called and they know where you're calling from even though it's a USA call centre. You need to key in that number on the contact screen.

I just got back from the USA where I bought about 200 records. It's taking a long time to get through them all. Currently spinning the DWARVES - How To Win Friends And Influence People LP picture disc that i found in Orange County. So many great record stores in the USA.

I had huge issues with Shop Radio Cast. To the point where months and months went by and then they turned around and said "oh we somehow overlooked your order" um, after my repeated emails they still overlooked it? I made 2 orders. Got one and one of the records wasn't in there and when i wrote about it they said "yeah, we sold out of that" like they knew it was out of stock and yet only refunded me when I brought it to their attention. I gave up on them until they offered the self-titled Blink double LP and Enema Of The State. I ordered both of those and got them sent to a USA address and they both arrived. Still, they fucked up my first order and didn't bother to send the second one and I just demanded a refund cos I was sick of waiting. They advertise too many items on their site that aren't even in stock. Someone needs to update that shit regularly. Best ones: Robotic Empire (they even tell you how many copies they have of an item left on the site so you can see before you order) Relapse No Idea Panic Bridge 9 Tiny Engines Deathwish Soundflat No Sleep Run For Cover takes ages to ship stuff but they do send it so they're ok in my books.

First post... anyway, just wanna let you all know that I too rang paypal and got the usual call centre deal. I explained the situation. They gave me the 45 day turn around thing. Then the woman said if he has taken off with the money then it's a matter for the police. I then told them how I was a long standing paypal customer and wasn't there anything they could do? She said no. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she put me on hold for a while. She then came back on the phone and said she couldn't get a supervisor but agreed to refund me the entire amount due to my long standing history with paypal. Basically what she probably did was tell her supervisor, they would have looked at my acct together and just said "give it to him" without needing to speak to them. That's the usual deal with call centres as they have what is called a First Call Resolution and escalating a call to a supervisor is not encouraged. Either way, I thank Paypal for their help in this matter and I hope MTS never do business with anyone ever again in anything ever. The result? Me - 1, Mightier Than Sword - 2,947 After working in a call centre myself, I can honestly tell you to not lose your cool with them. It usually does nothing as they are just the person on the end of the phone. Unless the person who answers say "hi, this is RJ-Chowder-Whateverthefuckhisnameis" then by all means go to town on the guy!
