I originally pre-ordered on Oct 12th @ $84.42. When the price went down the first time, I ordered another and left the first open. Later in the day, the price lowered on the first so I had two orders @ $26.99. Both were cancelled

I read those but for me, I only own Abbey Road and it's not in great shape. I paid about $18 per album for these. I couldn't find a decent used copy of any of these albums for that cheap.

Yeah, I know I'm trying not to think about it. Box sets look so great in a collection too!

Thanks, guys. I am pretty excited that I won. Well, that's a huge understatement! I honestly haven't had a chance to compare them to the actual songs yet. From the picture I posted, you can kind of see the notes in the lyrics are a little messy so it may take a little time to compare. I remember Tommy's girlfriend or wife posting on Facebook that whoever won would have a hard time deciphering the lyric notes. She wasn't kidding!

Oh, because you guys are in the US. Probably an extra week or so in transit from Canada.

Figured I may as well tag along in this thread for my question: Eventually, I'll be replacing all my inner sleeves will some form of poly sleeve but currently I don't use any outer sleeve. The main reason is my wife gets annoyed having to pull a record out of multiple sleeves. And she's usually handling records when she's had a couple of drinks, ugh! Anyways, a co-worker mentioned that she uses a standard outer sleeve, takes the record (in the sleeve) out of the jacket and puts it on the outside of the jacket but inside the outer poly sleeve. Does that make sense? I can see how this could save on having to pull the record out of the jacket and only out of the outer poly sleeve but I worry that that may be a lot of extra pressure on the jacket and bend the outer edges. Does anyone else do this? Other than that, I was thinking of leaving the records in the jacket then having the outer sleeve opening face backwards so you don't have to take the outer sleeve off to access the records. Suggestions? Oh, I use an expedit for storage like most vinyl lovers.

I received my box set a week ago and the vinyl is the same as the US release. Kinda bummed but not really why I bought the box set. Then, yesterday I got a random envelope from merchlimited that had "papers" as the description on the customs form. I open it up and it's Tommy's lyric notes!!! I think the last time I won something that was one of a kind was when I was 12, in '92. I won a hockey stick that was autographed by the entire Vancouver Canucks team. Oh, I also got to see Neil Young and Crazy Horse yesterday. Pretty good day!!!
