  1. Black Gives Way To Blue, which I love, is still readily available for under $20 and originally sold for $25 yet this album is $40? I can only assume this one is limited and there will be a standard pressing as well. I will wait for a standard press of this unless that for sure isn't happening. It will be disappointing if this is the only pressing.
  2. Popmarket bundle deal includes XL tshirt and 7". Free shipping. $26.99 for Americans. $37.99 for Canadians. http://www.popmarket.com/details/28153267?feature_id=28153274
  3. Well, I just ordered. Was going to get V5 but by the time I finished waffling it was sold out so I ordered V3.
  4. Never a need to apologize when it comes to Tool. I bought Salival when it came out in 2000. I was 20, washing cars for a living, so $60 was a lot of money but I didn't think twice about buying it. But that release has more to it than this. Or does it? Now, I work part time at a record store, part time in school and full time rely on my wife to support us. She's also a huge Tool fan but she probably wouldn't agree with $150 for this. That's if I tell her, of course.
  5. Limit of 3 of each variation? Who's gonna pay $2250 for 15 copies of this? Oh, wait... I love Tool but I can't justify $150 for something that is just a collector's item. Edit: Meanwhile I can't get myself to log out of the site and I'm still contemplating buying this. What's wrong with me?!?
  6. I got mine in today. I was a little worried because the record had a little room for movement inside the mailer. But I opened it up and everything is mint. Not a single seam split! And the vinyl is flat! Looks like there are still some available if anyone is still looking to order.
  7. I don't see it on the site anymore. I guess I shouldn't have slept in today.
  8. Fair enough. My post was more or less as pointless as yours. Seeing them live would probably help. I had never listened to anything like Ghost before seeing them live. When they came on stage, my wife and I kinda looked at each other like 'this should be interesting.' When they started playing, I couldn't believe how good they sounded. Everything was perfect. Their stage performance is great too and normally I don't really give a shit about that. Not long after the show, I bought the album and couldn't believe how familiar everything was. I know the music isn't overly complex, but hearing it again, I remembered every song like it was played and it was like I was back at the show again. If you have an opportunity to see them, I would definitely recommend it and I think tickets are around $20 for this tour. Plenty of worse things you can spend $20 on.
  9. I've never understood the desire for someone to open a thread about a band they aren't interested in and then post how they think the band or music is crap. There is a lot of music discussed here that I don't like but I don't waste my time going in those threads. Everyone has the right to listen to whatever the fuck they want. Unfortunately, you also have the right to post your opinion in this thread. I just don't understand why you would want to. Or maybe I'm wrong and some people have opinions that really are better than others... Anyway, I like both songs and am really looking forward to the new album. I saw these guys open for Mastodon and Opeth last year. Best opener I've seen that I didn't know a thing about before the show. Looking forward to seeing them again in April.
  10. Just received an email from Merge confirming the poster is a 12" x 18" of the album artwork.
  11. Hmm... T-shirt added an extra $10 in shipping. Might have to reconsider and just get the LP.
  12. Was just about to post. I'll probably get a bundle with one of the t-shirts. Really looking forward to this album.
  13. The repress is still available at Listenable.http://shop.listenable.net/product.php?id_product=2332
  14. Oh, buy two items and the shipping cost goes down. Not a lot but it's something if you can find something else to buy.
  15. Just cancelled my amazon pre-order and ordered from Merge for an extra $10. Not for the blue vinyl but the poster included. I hope it's just the right side of the album cover.
  16. Received my deluxe from XL today! Need to clean before I play it but the packaging is excellent! I got two download cards too. This seems to be happening to me pretty often. Wonder if that's the norm now?
  17. I'm gonna have to buy this! I wonder how much it'll be, ~$100?
  18. Around $250 from amazon.ca for black vinyl. http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00AX5B0Z6/ref=gno_cart_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB
  19. I didn't get a shipping notification but my order says it shipped. Doesn't list a date that it shipped though. Ordered from XL in the US.
  20. $6-8, I think, depending on how well you package. On the topic of lost packages, I had two shipments from the US leave on Nov 8th and I never received them. That was right around when hurricane Sandy was causing issues but one was west coast, one was east coast. Both of those weren't records, one was a preamp, the other a cartridge. But, on Dec 12th, a record was sent to me from the US and I have yet to receive it. I received a record sent from Italy last week that was sent a day before that one... I usually receive packages from the US in less than two weeks, everywhere else, less than four weeks. Something weird is going on lately and I don't think it's because of the holidays. I've received hundreds of packages from outside of Canada over the last 10 years and these recent issues are the first I've ever had. Am I lucky? I'd say yes but I still think something is happening recently that is causing these problems.
  21. Amazon.ca (Canada) ships in large boxes most of the time. I leave negative packaging feedback every time.
