  3. absolutely wrong! cilantro makes most mexican food. a wonderful thing. you may as well stick to taco bell

  5. Aug 0f 98'- Good Riddance, 88fl, AFI, @ fireside bowl
  6. I bought tickets, however my flight back to Chicago from Ireland lands @ 4:40. I'm gonna try & sleep on the plane, then just head straight there. They were one of my faves growing up. I'm sure this show will bring back some good memories. Hopefully I make it.
  7. from myspace: Having been completely blown away over the level of support the band has received over the years (these last few being particularly insane), we, like our mentors the Blues Brothers, are putting the band back together for one long-awaited reunion show. We are pleased to announce that we will be playing August 15th in Chicago at the Bottom Lounge. Information about when the show will go on sale will be announced soon so pay attention-you do not want to sleep on this truly special evening. Regretfully, Joe Principe cannot take part in this reunion as Rise Against is his main focus these days, but he has given this reunion his blessing. Filling in his shoes will be Bassmaster General John Contreras. LINEUP Denis Buckley - Vocals Mr.Precision - Guitars & backing vocals John Carroll - Drums & backing vocals John Contreras - Bass & backing vocals ...plus maybe a guest appearance? Keep checking back for more details and thank you once again for all of your support!! tickets: http://www.ticketweb.com/t3/sale/SaleEventDetail?dispatch=loadSelectionData&eventId=1500084 Awesome news!!!
  8. http://www.insound.com/Jimmy_Eat_World_Clarity_(Reissue)_2xLP/productmain/p/INS57912/ copy and paste the link if it doesn't work
  9. this is awesome! dude totally looks like a dog, with a human head, when he's all scurrying around the ring. I don't get how the kid with arms didn't just hold him down and pummel him.
  10. I love both of The Only Children albums. It's Josh from The Anniversary. http://www.myspace.com/theonlychildren
  11. Went to this show and was right in the front. Your description is dead on.I've been trying to get the visual out of my memory since 98. Thanks for bringing it back. Ruth Ruth was another one of the shitty opening bands.
  12. We got lucky here (Chicago)they played 3 shows at 3 different venues. The first one was a mostly acoustic show, where they played stuff off of all 4 albums. The second 2 were where they played Red of Tooth and Claw, and Who Will Survive. I went to the first and third. Both were fucking great! Also, at both it was just Fake Prob.(1st) B&B (2nd) MBD(3rd) no other bands.
  13. see i disagree. i don't think she's hotter than any of these women. but to each his own. if you had to kick off one of the top 5 to make room for her, which one specifically would you lose? Totally agree. She wouldn't even make my top 10, let alone top 5, I just don't get it. Although like you said to each his own. I know I should probably have some examples to back up my previous statement. However, at 2:20 I'm currently to drunk/lazy to google random hot chicks to see if they fall into this age group.
  14. I've been wanting this for YEARS. Also, 88 Fingers Louie. I know It wouldn't happen though with Joe in Rise Against.
  15. This band was great!!! Glad I got to see them a few times before they called it quits. The Only Children bring it too, they just don't play out often enough. Josh always puts on a good live show though.
  16. I bid over $300 (maybe close to $400, I don't really remember) on a Derek Hess, Afghan Whigs poster once. I was drinking that night. Drunk + Ebay= bad idea. Thankfully, I was outbid with a couple seconds left. Great poster, just not for that price.
  17. No way you live here(Chicago) and have NEVER seen a Popeye's chicken. And while we're at it, where is the love for some Harold's?????
  18. 2 solid episodes for the ABC debut. The second one was pretty sad. My wife cried during it. Although she probably cries at most of them. I swear we'll laugh for 25 min. and then after the moral, I'll look at her and she'll be crying.
  19. I was joking, however I probably don't post here often enough to convey sarcasm, but most of the time that's where I'm going. On a side note though, I do know a few dudes who will actually eat at the strip club. Shit's gross.
  20. karma means nothing, unless you care what people you don't know think about you.
