  1. Secretly Canadian had nothing to do with this other than supplying the tracks. This dude runs his own label and was doing the pressing himself.
  2. This one was a flexible funding so they got what was raised, which is why I contributed to begin with since I wanted the Molina stuff, it was listed as being exclusive to this campaign, and I figured at least they would raise enough to be able to press the records. With as little as was claimed, and the conspicuous lack of communication since it ended, I don't think enough was raised. Indiegogo is currently investigating but they will not issue refunds even if they find the campaign in violation of intent.
  3. After almost a month since this ended with no updates anywhere and so little money raised and I am leaning more and more towards the thought that I am never gonna see what I paid for in this campaign.
  4. Strawberry Wine is one of his best tracks period. I hear it as his Ambulance Blues or Don't Be Denied (doom period Neil Young).
  5. Popmarket has the bundle of the upcoming 4 resissues today, using the popmarket10 coupon I got them all for $67.49 or something.
  6. The Hepa-titus 12 inch colors are variable although most are much more dark purplish/black. This is the more limited cows, regular is blue and black. This is the less limited Melvins/Hepa-titus although most have more pink/red in them, the more limited version is red/red.
  7. Unless you really like their Noise album, don't bother. They are not good on this tour. The last good show of theirs I saw was when Michio was still touring with them, unless you get to see a specifically advertised drone show.
  8. Tago Mago, Ege Bamyasi, and Soon Over Babaluma are the best Can albums, but don't limit yourself to those. After '77 or so the returns diminish precipitiously.
  9. This indiegogo campaign is offering a 7 inch of Jason covering Townes Van Zandt and an LP of unreleased songs overseen by Secretly Canadian. As an indiegogo campaign these rewards will exist whether or not the full funding goal is reached. Check all the tiers, but there is one for the 7 inch out of 2500, one for the LP on "carousel themed" color out of 3000, the LP on gold out of 500, and test presses out of 5 (only 1 of those left at this writing). https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/project-carousel
  10. And Ryan was playing with Phil Lesh in 2005, jamming on dead songs and some of his own. But a lot of the dead heads hated his jamming contributions there as well.
  11. Huh, I actually like Halloweenhead. Easy Tiger really speaks to me as a(n attempted) recovery album. I saw two unforgettable Cardinals shows in 2007, one because it was so amazing on the summer acoustic tour, and one because Ryan had a tantrum and ended the show on the fall tour, leaving the band on stage to walk off in confusion. I actually vowed to never buy anything or go see him again after that one. Thankfully, despite being underwhelmed by Ashes and Fire, but assured that he was fully sober now, I did go see him again on his solo tour in 2011 and it was so goddamn good.
  12. There is a 2nd and 3rd Buzzo 10 inch to round out the songs from the album. Vinyl is done, jackets are not.
  13. The Buzzo 10 inches are still waiting on the jackets. Could be next week, could be after the art show in Nashville. The NIght Goat repress is probably gonna be a 10 inch, and possibly something other than Adolescent Wet Dream on the B side. There may be some more of the Bowie and Queen 7 inches going up for sale soon too. The last Sugar Daddy is gonna be with Karp but they haven't decided what the Karp track(s) will be yet and then that will finally be done.
  14. Very much looking forward to Gilead this year, I had a fantastic time in 2012. I only wish I could see more shows on the upcoming tour.
  15. The vinyl is from the regular run, it is just that the pig is printed with metallic ink on the insert.
  16. If it was the december '94 JFA show, that was my first time at the Fireside.
  17. I cannot wait to see that website. So many shows I would like to remember. I spent so much time there between '94 and '97 and there will still so many shows I missed. I need to scan some photos.
