can't see San Fran trading him in division. KC is the likely destination. all reports as of Sunday night have been that it's pretty much a done deal with KC. when you look at the other potential landing spots KC makes the most sense. the Jets need a QB but will be stuck with Sanchez until he retires. odds are he will never restructure his contract and the Jets will just have to eat it because they can't take the cap hit from releasing him. no team will trade for him either because of his contract. Buffalo is in the same position with Fitzpatrick but wouldnt take as big of a cap hit by cutting him. dumb moves to give those two QB's huge contract extensions. Cleveland and Jacksonville could use Smith but they have a lot invested in young QB's and they will probably give them more time to see if they pan out. Oakland will probably draft Geno Smith.

when exactly did you want to the NFL do something about the brain injuries? they have to know there is a problem before they can address the problem. these injuries did not come to light until recently. things that happened in the 80s are just now coming to light. it's not the NFL's fault medical science knows very little about how our brain works. and some of the brain injuries leading to suicide can only be diagnosed postmortem. so unfortunately and as gruesome as it sounds, there is no way to know there is a problem until someone commits suicide. there would be an issue here if the NFL was not doing anything safety wise and ignoring it. but they are addressing it. and they look into new safety measures after every season. obviously it's not good to get hit in the head. we've always known that much. but do you want football to not exist because there is the potential to get hit in the head. you can get hit in the head walking down the street. as for the retiring because of what happened to Seau there are other factors to consider. like age. would a player who played 12 seasons and is 35 who retired because of the injury risk and/or directly as a result of Seau still make the decision to retire if he was 25 and only played 2 seasons? if Adrian Peterson doesnt want his kids to play football i don't see him filing his retirement papers. all these players who are second guessing playing football are guess what, still playing football. and Adrian Peterson is known as AD, not AP.

no need to. when the offical RSD list comes out you can usually download it from their website as a pdf. it has the pressing info, label, etc in a spreadsheet type of layout.

Dave raised some good, level headed points. i think no matter where you stand on the raffles, charitable donations or not, the risk of someone using it as a scam should be the end of them here. VC has seen its fair share of scammers running various cons. it wouldnt take long for someone purely out to scam to figure out how to use these raffles to their advantage.

i hope you know this new board has an ignore feature now. you can hide posts by copy and pasting user names to you ignore list through the user control panel drop down menu. i add people like him to my list after their first asinine post. it makes the board far more enjoyable to read.

since there are 2 people in this thread who bought the hand painted ones are they basically the same? or are they completely different paintings on each of yours? i assumed the band painted the same thing on all of them, an interpretation of the cover art and whats inside the gatefold on the regular copies on the back.

don't forget the musicinveins guy. who when he did actually pay for shit he filed a chargeback with his bank. don't remember if he cancelled e-checks or not but that is also a route scammers take once records are sent out to them. hell, recordhound even made a new account here and flew under the radar for a bit before he admitted it was him. verifying new people before they sell will be difficult as there are ways around nearly every way people can prove themselves. and a lot of work on the mods' part too. the photo/vid route has already been shot through. going the ebay account route people can just give a random username that has a ton of positive feedback. mods would then have to check the ebay account and send messages to the person making sure it's legit. even then, there is nothing stopping someone from giving a friend's ebay account for verification pruposes here, and just have their friend respond to inquries to make everything seem legit. it might not seem like a lot of work for the mods, but after a while the list of new people to verify will grow longer and longer and longer. making this place safer to buy, sell and trade is a great idea and should definitely be considered, but there is no way to make it 100% safe. unfortunately there will always be scammers on the prowl. people still have to use common sense and apply the if it's too good to be true rule.

it would be interesting to know how much lazylab actually makes. she buys so much shit, by the looks of if almost every record that was ever pressed in the last 2-3+ years. she has to spend thousands up front, only to not even double her money on a lot of things. some things she is making like $10 on. not even taking into account how long she sits on records because they don't sell. just doesnt seem worth it to me.

he just bailed buying something from me a while ago, a few months ago now. worked out a price, sent him my paypal info and he never sent the money and stopped responding to pm's. even pm's asking him to simply let me know if he wasn't going to pay for whatever reason so i can stop holding the record. his bullshit cost me selling it to someone else. then my email started getting tons of spam and was signed up for a bunch of random newsletters. never had any spam problems before that and i only use that email for paypal.
