For fucking real.

You do realize that tracking links do not work instantly, right? Also backing the talk of how some of these kids couldn't handle true mailorder. Having to list alternatives would blow minds.
-
That's what I was thinking because if the 7" were actually in a tin, it would be even more expensive and the first thing people would be talking about when it came to the packaging.

While I was watching this, I was wondering if the soundtrack would be pressed. Pretty cool stuff.

Personally, I would expect him to just pocket your money and ride off into the sunset.

CONVERGE - All We Love We Leave Behind

I plan on just snagging one of these when they come to Pittsburgh. Although, as more time passes I am tempted to order one now. -
I picked up a tour copy last week, before the announcement of the MTB tour, I had no idea these dudes were still around. I'm really glad they are as the new record rips. Really nice too.

There is literally nothing wrong with this.

If I remember correctly, the issue with Euro mailers is that they only exist in recycled paper form. -
Shiner is releasing The Egg on vinyl plus tour

http://shiner.shopsilentempire.com/ This is up. There was an error that didn't let you order for like twenty minutes. It seems to have been fixed. -

The more I think of this, I think of the demise of Witching Hour. -
I am totally shocked to see some skull servants on here.

You know, I miss $3 ppd 7"s, hell ppd records period, but so it goes. Unfortunately. -

This. Plus, I never bought direct from Hydrahead because of how shitty Blue Collar Distro is. Maybe they wouldn't be in debt if they actually re-pressed all of the records people actually give a shit about (ie: Botch, Cave In) instead of claiming you only did it because you "found" covers. -

Meh. They were a big deal for my formative years, but now I hardly ever buy anything. So thanks for the memories. -

When I was a kid my dad gave me all of his records along with his old turntable and stereo. Granted, it was a lot of beat up hair metal, but that's how I started. I didn't start buying my own stuff until my early teenage years. So yeah, I could have clarified that I have owned stuff for that long, but have been buying for a few years less. -

I know this too, but I'd still take an all around nicer product than goofy colors. Simplicity goes a long way. Plus, if you're spending $40 on a Boston reissue, you're doing it wrong. I'm talking about like the nice work that labels such as Southern Lord do. Don't get me wrong, I do still have a soft spot for all of my punk 7"s with xeroxed sleeves on paper thin black vinyl that appears to be see-thru brown because it's so shitty. Whatever. -

Maybe I should have added that back then was when I started to buy records. Fifteen years later, that stuff is played out and lame. Give me high quality audiophile pressings over limited, tour only, etched b-side nonsense. -

I lucked out and snagged a copy off of discogs for $40. Pretty awesome deal if I say so myself. That aside, I am dying to hear this damn record. -

Yeah, but even then what purpose does it serve besides being able to show off a cool collection photo on the internet? What really irks me is when it is a limited re-press (like Shiner's The Egg) and dudes feel the need to own every copy. Total hobbyist fetishism. As for the sand, I do recall reading before that it has to deal with the haze effect. It just takes a second to clean, but it is a bummer altogether. -

Color vinyl and limited pressings where cool when I was in high school, but now that shit is played out and lame. Just give me a copy of the record and I'm fine. The only thing worse than this are the dinguses who need more to own every variant out there. I'm really digging the GZ hate aside from what was mentioned above, I always hated that the matrix is not hand-written, their center labels are dull, and the oh so wonderful "sand" you find on their stuff now and again. The Czech Republic rules, but GZ does not. -

Does this mean the copies from Dine Alone are going out as well (as the paypal receipts there still said SRC)?
