I have a test press of The Greatest Generation. I'm not a variant collector and I already have two other copies of this album and every single place that I went to get the Drive Soundtrack had just sold it before I got there. I've been trying to get this record for some time now and would trade this test press for it. If you aren't interested in trading, I would be willing to just pay out of pocket for it. The website for Upstream Color, a film I saw premiere at Sundance a few weeks back, has the LP soundtrack up for sale at $25 a pop. You can download it for free, but it's gorgeous and the film is incredible. Shane Carruth, the filmmaker (and composer in this case) is self releasing the film and doing all the promo, so the cash is likely ending up in his hands. Hey gang, kind of a weird situation here. A while back I picked up Hans Zimmer's The Dark Knight OST from my local record store. It was marked down; while the records are new and unplayed, the sleeve has some pretty hardcore damage on the front. There are two small holes near the top left of the cover, and a large hole near the bottom right. This is in addition to several scratches along the bottom. This is just the cover, mind you; the gatefold and the back are completely untouched. While I know the damage is rather unsightly, I know how in-demand this album is for certain people, given that it's out of print. Both records are unplayed and seemingly unscathed.
