  4. FEMME KRAWALL - FUN IM ALL 10'' SFR-73 // Release: 17.3.2017 // PREORDER NOW GARAGE / PUNK / SURF - Did somebody say riot grrl? Finally, after an intense year of touring, writing and generally fucking shit up, FEMME KRAWALL are back with a hot new piece of vinyl that basically does everything even better than before. They updated their formula of reverb-drenched garage riffs, abstract lyrics and their unique singing that made their previous records an instant all-time favourite. Managing to stay positive while at the same time being fucking pissed about stuff, they deliver 5 songs that will make you dance with a smile on your face and your fist in the air while shouting lyrics that actually matter without becoming the all too often political punk cliche. Its a blast to have this band back on Spastic Fantastic with this 10“ called „Fun im All“ (fun in space), that was recorded in spring 2016 by Luc of The Hit Fountain. Limited to 500, get yours now, they will be gone fast! Preorder: http://tinyurl.com/fun-im-all Stream: http://tinyurl.com/fun-im-all-stream

Dentist - Ceilings June 24, 2016 Preorder via Little Dickman Records /300 on black vinyl Dentist is an Asbury Park, NJ based Indie Rock band whose infectious sound straddles the worlds of surf, punk, and pop. The band has played extensively in the northeast and shared the stage with a variety of national acts like Jeff the Brotherhood, Laura Stevenson, Television, Screaming Females and many more. New track, "Awful" premiered on Noisey on April 21: Check out their self-titled debut at their bandcamp: https://dentist1.bandcamp.com/ Two of my friends are in this band (formerly of Like The Stars and Breathing Blue for you NJ local scene folks) and they're pretty rad. Please support them!

  7. "French fuzz punks LOS DOS HERMANOS have a brand new 7″ titled Alienor on Six Tonnes De Chair Records. The wax is limited to 150 copies (75 on green vinyl, 75 on red), including a B-side medley of Ty Segall covers. Following their crushingdebut on Howlin’ Banana Records, the Bordeaux duo is back again with their fuzz-fucked surf punk. “Alienor” is their own scuzzy track, littered with buzzy guitar hooks and crashing percussion. Boy-girl vocals sound totally concentrated, almost like the duo is howling from the inside of a deep cavern. Sharp guitar shrills cut through trippy strobe light textures, sealing up a completely relentless track. On the B-side the band covers two classic Ty Segall tracks, namely “Standing At the Station” and “Oh Mary.” They’re brief but completely awesome, closing out the 7″ with two jagged slabs of gritty pop. Grab this 7″ now because they’re not going to last long!" 8. Formed out of the murky Louisiana Swamp, these four denizens of somnambulance and limited brain power were a former backing band to Motown's greats, until abandoned at a routine gas stop in Baton Rouge in August 1965. In an act of brazen post-mortem activity, the band soldiered on, focusing their collective rage and wild abandonment issues into a thrashy, gross, fast, groovy, loud, hurt-feeling-fest of garage and punk rock bravado. After emerging from those garbage laden swamps, the band relocated to Los Angeles in late 2009 to annoy and harass the lazy bourgeois bar going public and teenage backyard house show attendee. Who knows what posthumous ridiculousness will ensue. (FFO: 60's garage, surf, stomp, punk, noise) http://vitriolrecords.bigcartel.com/product/death-hymn-number-9-3rd-degree-moonburns-lp
  9. Sorry to post a blatant advertisement, but I'm super excited and happy about this. My label's first LP release, from Boston's awesome instrumental surf band CRIMSON GHOSTS. They do really fun, totally awesome instrumental surf versions of classic misfits tunes, and are a fucking blast to catch live. Cover art done by Eerie Von (Danzig/Misfits bassist, all around awesome dude). You can hear some tracks and (if you feel so inclined) order a copy at www.gozombie.com There's only 300 of em, and they're on marbled wax with full color inserts!!! Thanks!!
