eight1echo
Came across this promo copy of CSN&Y - Celebration Copy and the label has the four Led Zeppelin signs on it. Can't find any information about it online, anyone ever come across this before? Probably just a misprint in the pressing plant but it's pretty cool so I thought I'd share. chiefwahoo
That's a unique find for sure. Can't imagine there's many of those floating around, especially since that was strictly a promotional album. What strikes me as odd is that the artist and album title are so small, as if it was meant to fit below the Zeppelin logos.
ratbrain
No real helpful info here, but: http://collectorsfrenzy.com/details/360612590811/CROSBY_STILLS_NASH__YOUNG__CELEBRATION_COPY_LED_ZEPPELIN_Missprint_LP_EX
Mourning Wood
Can you put up a picture of the cover.? The lack of Atlantic Records standard copy on the label says "forgery" to me. As in bootleg.
Punkrockcomicart
Neat find. I have an album that came in a Cheap Trick Dream Police sleeve. One side has a Dream Police label, the other has A label for Michael Jackson's Off the Wall. The album is actually Off the Wall.
easytiger
I've also come across a record like Punkrockcomicart. A Side was Joni Mitchell and the B Side was the soundtrack to the Exorcist. In hindsight, I should have bought it but I was new to vinyl. Shucks.
Punkrockcomicart
Mislabels aren't particularly valuable. But oddities like Olsvik's CS&N album are. Now, if one side had been Cheap Trick, and the other Michael Jackson, I might have had something.
easytiger
I was more into having the 'is Joni Mitchell a satanist' conversation/conspiracy thing than anything. Value be damned.
Punkrockcomicart
Clearly, the power of Christ compelled you not to buy it!
