TXDRMST
I keep seeing copies of Alchemy Index going up for sale which are labeled "Ultra rare, un-numbered promo copy". Does anyone know anything about these copies or their legitimacy? Any info would be appreciated, as I can't seem to find anything anywhere on the interwebs. daegor
I don't think they are promos, it was probably just overrun. While technically rarer than the numbered copies that shouldn't be worth anything more.
soundofsulfur
Wish they'd do some sort of repress for this already. Even if it's in a different format. I'd actually like to see this released as four 12" records. FlippingOut

daegor
I love the format they were released in, it's one of my favourite releases as far as the physical attributes of the package go. But I am by no means a pressing elitist, I'm all for it being repressed. It would be nice if it was a different format to keep the OG special, but whatever. I'd have to look at the track lengths you could totally do this as a 2x LP. LP1 Fire & Water (red/blue color in color?), LP2 Air & Earth (clear/brown like this years No Sleep subscription?). mydenvermint
I bought a copy of this album around 8 months ago and it is not numbered.
1876records
I am glad someone made a thread about this. Almost dropped $300 on Discogs last week for a "promo" copy. Not dropping that kind of coin on a promo or an over-run.
