slinch Posted September 4, 2015 Author Share Posted September 4, 2015 Yeah, that BB-8 looks absolutely incredible, but the price is too hard to swallow. It retails for $200 here in EU. There's also a slightly bigger, cheaper (I think it's around $80) version out by Hasbro: Slinch, where did that head crab guy come from? It's a statue by Gaming Heads: http://www.gamingheads.com/index.php?option=com_myphp&Itemid=3&product=88 The RRP on it was $315, but many stores had it down to around $100. No This Is Patrick Posted September 4, 2015 Share Posted September 4, 2015 I remember one of my later childhood Christmas presents was a kid-sized-ish R2-D2! It moved around on it's own, had a flashlight, cup holder, it would have reactions to would you would say to it. But the coolest thing about it was it had a "game mode" and one of the things was "hide and seek". Turn off the lights in the room, tell him to start the game and then he starts counting down! Even made some cheeky attempts to try and peek before. Then just hide and he would find you with his sensor and start beeping with excitement! Such a cool toy...
