Reshiram
From the bands Facebook Following 20 years, 5 full length albums, many tours around the world, and numerous other recordings, John Haughm and the rest of the band (Don Anderson, Jason Walton, and Aesop Dekker) have parted ways. What the future holds for the separate parties remains undetermined. We collectively thank all of our fans across the world. There are also way too many other people to thank who made this band possible. You know who you are. Fuck 2016.

fitterhappier
Glad I had the pleasure of catching their shows several times
morfiend
This sucks but I wasn't all that surprised. With Don living in NY and Aesop in CA I'm sure it's hard to get everyone together to rehearse/tour. I hope John continues on with Agalloch eventually but a huge creative piece would be missing if Don never comes back.
clerk3745
This is definitely a bummer and I don't mean to take away from it but has anyone heard jon'a solo stuff?
morfiend
His solo stuff is ok. It's basically John, his guitar and a bunch of effect pedals. Sounds very abstract/droney. I appreciate the fact that his solo stuff sounds very different from Agalloch. You can buy and take a listen here http://www.dammerungarts.com/john-haughm-solo.html
