vittywatt
i got the new next what well over a year ago and it was warped the second i pulled it out of the record sleve. i emailed no idea and they said no big deal mail it back and we'll give you a new one. well i'm lazy and went on tour and never did it. now i've still got this record sitting in my collection. does anyone have any solutions to fix this? i was told if you place two pieces of glass around it, let it bake in the sun for a bit, then let it cool...bam new record... its worth a try but once again i'm lazy and never done it... any other ideas? anyone succesfully fix a warped record? mystic84
people here suggested me not to put it in the sun, but to create (i dunno how) a wamr environment. some people put the record in an oven too.
cadetapplesauce
apparently the glass/sun/oven method works if you wanna melt the grooves out. but i dont know, i've never tried it?? sorry ???
mattisr1984
who knows if this is even a good thing to do but i used to take my old college books and stack em on top of a record (in its sleeve--not the jacket) and it would straighten it out just enough for it to not be wobbling all over the place. i dont have any seriously warped records though. frostbrewliner
I got a warped haircuts and t shirts 7" from ebay, I ended up putting it under a bunch of magazines and forgot about it for about 2 weeks when I finally remembered I had put it under there I played it and the warp was gone enough to play without skipping. recordsyeah
I got a warped record from magic bullet once. he asked me to try wraping the record in aluminum foil and putting it in the fridge over night. I tried it but I dont think it did anything.

oakland
If you a lot of record, just put the warped one in the middle of a bunch that are tightly packed together. I'd wait a month or two, then check it out. Should be fine.
stupiditytrying
i think the glass one will at least lessen that bend. maybe do it once. let it sit under something heavy for a couple of months, then do it again. you certainly cant play it now, so youve really got nothing to lose by trying.
