kurtz Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 Nothing that they wrote makes me feel like they got screwed. That is how labels work. They pay for you to record an album, and they promote it. Then once the sales of your record exceed the amount of money that the label put in, then the band gets royalties. It just sounds like Trash Talk was not aware of how labels work. And if they think that having a record on Deathwish did nothing to boost their popularity and get more people at their shows... they are sadly mistaken.
