catalinacaper
Gattis has another 2 RBI and JUp has his 7th homer and were still in the 3rd inning.
Guest
buccholz was groovin' today. 6th and 7th innings he was like bob ross on the mound. shame to see him lose the no-no on a broken bat blooper, but the starts that he and lester are having right now are exactly what this team needed. thebiglebowski
Hamilton seems to have snapped out of his funk. 2 homers and a triple last 2 days. Now I need Kemp to figure it out!
KennyFuckingPowers
being a yankee had nothing to do with it- i still fucking hate nick swisher. All he was was a guy who benefited from being on the Yankees. He will never ever do the things he did in NY in Cleveland.

David The Gnome
guys, Maholm is pitching ridiculous. so awesome, really liked him in pittsburgh It's great to see him doing so well. He had talent with the buccos, just no run support, ever. Speaking of the Pirates... How about the sweep of the Reds? Didn't see that one coming. thebiglebowski
they've won 89+ games the past three years And won the division, what, 13 times in a row during the 90s and 00s? Maybe I'm pretty high with that number but there was definitely a solid streak that believe went until the phillies had their run with Howard/utley/Rollins. catalinacaper
14 Years. 1991-2005, with far too many of those years ending in the NLDS. Well, technically they moved to the NL East in 1994, but they won the NL West the 3 years prior. I find it funny how many Braves fans live up to the stereotype of indifference, but I guess I can't speak for them, living 7+ hours away. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ive always loved the Braves, I cant hate them for leaving town when they did for Atlanta, their team in the early 90's was so redic. Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz? good lawdy.

saxonviolons
14 Years. 1991-2005, with far too many of those years ending in the NLDS. You have to keep in mind that during this tenure it wasn't so much that the Braves were good, it was that many of the other teams in their divisions were pretty terrible, boosting them on up in the 1st place slot. This is supported by the fact that once the season ended and they actually had to play competitively during the playoffs, they never really got anywhere. I can certainly vouch for the Pirates during that stretch.

chamb117
Did he slow down so he could dive?? i don't think so. he made incredible extension and covered a lot of ground after his feet lifted off. edit: he took a bad route, first step in. definitely wouldn't have needed to lay out if he took first step back but a a line drive like that is really hard to read, so i can't blame him. thebiglebowski
Would I be foolish to bench kemp to get Bergman into my lineup? He's killing me...
