  1. lol @ "feeling old being 8 in 94." No I don't need this. I've heard Nirvana's "greatest hits" plenty, and will hear them plenty in the future. Great band though, could see other people wanting this.
  2. Gonna be that guy, has anyone ever been able to find a pressing of some album called "Deja Entandu" by Brads News? Looking for one for my boyfriend.
  3. I would classify brand new as more rocky, and less metally. But who really gives a shit? I say potato you say potato.
  4. Yesturday I googled Deja Entendu Hot Topic and got a link to a page with the record. Ordered a copy, then today got an email saying the item was out of stock. Thanks to you guys, I checked out the site today, searched Brand New and the record was up. I think I might finally get my hands on a copy of this. Used the promo code, and had it shipped to the store, so I spent less than I would have initially. Hoping my order comes through this time, and hopefully they aren't damaged if I just pick them up at the store.
  5. Probably helped if he was the first one to call in and ask. I imagine it might be the only one seeing as how they don't want dozens more calling in and getting a better copy for free.
  6. This is awesome and thanks for sharing. I may do the same. Got mine from Amazon.ca as well in the $35 range, it'd be great if you let us know if the copy you get is like the one joeybuckets posted pictures of. Will save me the $70 bucks to buy a new one and keep the old.
  7. Gonna gamble and wait for Hot Topic to sell this in store. Hopefully they come through and it sounds grand.
  8. Thanks so much. Would appreciate it. I bought the first round of this, and my Zero has that distortion. I was not neccesarilly happy with the quality of the sound on a couple of the tracks actually, which was tough because the packaging is just spectacular, and you could tell they put a lot of time into it. Too bad the most important part, the sound of the record, fell flat on its face. The one on Amazon is going for $70 Prime, and if it's the same one you bought (maybe you can confirm with the link below) and it sounds great, I will probably just drop the money to have one that sounds good. http://www.amazon.com/Mellon-Collie-Infinite-Sadness-LP/dp/B008Z9L94O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1430745981&sr=8-1&keywords=mellon+collie+vinyl Sucks I'm going to be spending almost $150 when all is said and done just because the first ones to press this were bozo's.
  9. Anyone get Thrice Tix to the HOB in Anaheim? I'm trying to find out what happened, because I just missed them when they went on sale. What's even more odd is I can't find them anywhere and nobody is even reselling them marked up on StubHub or anything.
  10. Maybe it's just me, but I gladly bought this record for $40 +$5 Shipping and Handling, and I didn't even think twice about it. Not just because it's an album I want so dearly, but because I want to support the band, and I am also greatful that I got the opportunity to purchase this at a price signifigantly below what they've been selling for on eBay. I'm glad I waited it out. People that say that want to own this record because it's great but don't want to pay what they're charging clearly don't want it that badly. And that's fine, maybe this is just one of those records you don't get to add to your collection. Your choice. But when you start telling people what they should charge just "because" you think that's what it should be, instead of just accepting the price letting them charge what they want to, you're fighting a losing battle.
  11. Ordered directly from Coheed and Cambria. Seeing them in LA in September. Came out to $45, not complaining. Oh, and the variant on Amazon...does anyone know what that's all about? The color, the release, anything?
  12. Sweet thanks. Guess now would be a good time to put my Vheissu Original Pressing on eBay?
  13. Wow talk about luck. Just so happened to be on eBay and see some Beggars splatter that looked like bullshit, came here to see if it was legit and come to find the Vheissu repress. I bought yellow cause I'm over the white and clear vinyl. Speaking of which, is this Beggars vinyl legit? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Thrice-Beggars-Blue-Splatter-Vinyl-12-LP-SEALED-Mint-Vheissu-Alchemy-Major-/261520743110?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item3ce3d9dac6
  14. Got Buddha...well, atleast I think I did until I get that order confirmation... Not really concerned about the greatest hits, I'd really just be buying it for 1 song: Not Now. Not sure if it's worth it.
  15. How the hell does a person write 132 demos? Nonetheless remember and keep track? Probably the same person that undertakes a 28 song double CD album...But as a guitar player/song writer this stuff blows my mind. There's just songs constantly going on in Billy's head... I can't get through Oceania without skipping song after (going on) 3-4 tries...but Zeitgeist is fucking awesome and I've listened to the whole thing all the way through at least 30 times and I pretty much know every song. And it sounds AMAZING with a good home or car stereo system and sub. Maybe it's just Oceania isn't for me, but I'm so glad Billy made Zeitgeist, such a raw sound that personifies the kind of rock musician he can be.
  16. I think the best song on this album is "We Were Younger Then" This is the first album in a while that I listened through the first time completely on vinyl. The album overall IMO is kinda washed out, nothing really stands out... Got the white today, it's numbered, and it sounds nice. Would definitely buy the gold with black @ HT if I liked it more.
  17. funny cause I feel the last couple singles they released had nothing to do with how the rest of the album sounded.
  18. Got this today, took a GOOD look and didn't notice this at all. Not even going to check to see if you're right because: 1) I don't care 2) If I didn't notice it upon my initial look it's probably not relevant enough to give a shit 3) Parts of the cover are glossy, some parts are flat, just like the original CD, and I am totally stoked to see that kind of detail. The splatter on the record itself looks great as well. 4) Want to see a pixelated cover that you might actually have some grounds to complain? Go check out HT's first re-release of Thrice - The Artist in the Ambulance. I own it and the pixelated image sucks, but who cares, I'm spinning wax of a record I love that I didn't own before for $20. Do not have the original, but I have the 2nd pressing from HT and didn't even notice a difference. Honestly Travis, you're a dear to respond to these people complaining, but really I think the effort is useless as they are out of their freakin' minds. You can thank liberals for that! EVERYONE, no matter how insignifigant, has a right to complain and be heard! But honestly, the issue is more the "anonymity" of most of these complaining assholes. Nobody knows who they are, nobody will ever know, so they feel like they can just "like" a facebook page to make a statement, or mouth off wherever to anybody who will let them because they spent $25 (which is 3+ hours of mind-numbing work at the local burger joint) without having to be accountable for the shit they post. Amazing progressive society we live in these days...
  19. It blows my mind how, after watching this movie 100-500+ times, this is still making me laugh the fuck out loud.
  20. It takes years...sometimes DECADES! But I think it'll be worth it in the end. Album: Self Titled Song: Not Now - DeLonge's last greatest 182 vocal performance Variant: All of 'em - Love anything Blink
  21. Coheed could make SO MUCH $$$$ repressing and selling their first 3 records on wax that it's not even funny. Do the whole "individually numbered foil stamp" 2X LP deal for $40/$60/$40 a pop, respectively, + $8 shipping and people wouldn't even think twice and they'd probably be sold out and "presale" flipped for double on eBay within 48 hours.
