seafoamgreen
A warped record will sound like the volume is fading in an out because the needle's going in deep, then not so deep. Mike will probably replace it if it's that serious.
adamlikesmusic
Are Cocktails & Dreams numbered like the other records?
opivy
Are Cocktails & Dreams numbered like the other records? No, unnumbered. My Aside/Bside record was pretty warped, but the volume stayed constant with a dime on the needle.
punkrockvinyl25
so they sent 40 records back. we started opening them one by to check but that was getting out of hand. if you have any problems email mike at the asian man addy and we'll get them out to you asap. i guess we should open the rest up to check. Stanton's needles come with weights you can screw on the needle, 1 and 5 gram weights if I remember correctly. It's a pretty cool thing to add, I think. FullCircleHook
Shit I am having bad luck with these Asian Man LA presses. I've got a total of 4 and they have all been warped. I sent the first 2 back (still waiting for them to come back) and now just got the cocktails 2LP today. Of course both are warped... I gotta decide if I'm gonna return these though, because they seem to play alright. It's getting kind of irritating though. Costing me more money in shipping and I have to wait forever to listen to the damn things.

suburbanargyle
My copy of "Guided Tour" was warped and looked pretty bad, but I played it and sounded alright to me. Guess I got lucky.
